Juncker vs. Farage: The final battle

  • “I’m surprised that you are here. You were fighting for the exit. The British people voted for the exit. Why are you here?” European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said on Tuesday (28 June) in Strasbourg.
Juncker addressed MEPs at the European Parliament for the first time after the United Kingdom chose to leave the European Union in a referendum on Thursday (23 June).
UKIP leader Nigel Farage also delivered a speech, in which he reminded MEPs that he started leading the Brexit campaign 17 years ago.
“When I came here 17 years ago and I said that I wanted to lead a campaign to get Britain to leave the EU, you all laughed at me. I have to say you’re not laughing now, are you?” the UKIP leader said.
“Virtually none of you have ever done a proper job in your lives or worked in business or worked in trade or indeed ever created a job,” he added.

Juncker: Why are you here?... He's there, because british people voted for him to be there, which leads to the logical question why is Juncker there, no one voted for him?

And Juncker is a well known Drunkard from many reports from his home nation in Luxembourg and EU diplomats who interacted with him. Many have stated that a typical breakfast for Juncker is cognac and cigarettes. I've seen one yahoo video where he was obviously drunk in front of the cameras stomping on the floor and slapping EU leaders.

Ignorance is the mother of all evils... if your country had general elections and European elections then people voted for who they wanted in the EU organisations. Simples... need me to type slower? or spell it out for you?

      @Praetore_ Před 5 lety +7

@@juliansanchezharris5773 There is only short term harm from Brexit at worst no matter how you look at it. The pathetic, weak willed, appeaser stances, where we would still be apart of the EU because of remaining in this union or that, is absolutely autism. If we in anyway remain a part of the EU, be it in the custom union or anything else, our country will be seen as weak willed, and it will have failed to properly exit the EU, and that just fact, because all that then would have happened is we would have just lost the right to defend ourselves or even protect ourselves in the first place. A Hard Brexit is factually better than any bad deals, desperately rushing an awful deal serves no purpose, and the fact that anyone would thing any deal is good shows a general lack of knowledge on the subject. Brexit means Brexit, being weak and appeasing the EU does nothing but ruin the UK furthermore than it already has been. But no I am not talking about Immigrants, I am talking about the Economic Migrants who in the last few years as fled from Africa and the Middle East to Europe, mostly with the goal of using us, and a lot with hatred it their heart and crime, or revenge, or simply just war in their mind. Their cultures are the problem, they at their base will never Integrate, and even then it as absolutely abhorrent idea to let so many millions of people pile into European governments when do little of them have any skills, and so little even care for jobs, the media tries it's absolute best to make them look as innocent as possible, but they are just not. There absolutely are some, a minority, who had legitimate causes in the start, but the actual count of real refuges, is I think at most 100,000-300,000? They are the actual refugees we were supposed to be letting in. Honestly, the whole situation is tearing Europe apart and ruining nations. I would not overly say I have any personal biases, but I do just at this point see them for what they all are and that is a leeching cancer who at their base still had intentions to come here and use us, to use people with actual jobs that work legitimately hard, so they can have easy lives, knowing full well because of their skin colours they would be protected from any criticism of any kind, because end of the day, first thing most people do is just scream racist for pointing out any bullshit migrants do. Migrant crime by this point is huge trust me, look at Italy, and Germany, and France, they are the bigger nations and probably by far the worst hit, but then there is Slovenia which only had a couple million people in the first place as well....... Like so, I am more of a realist, and I just go straight with evil is evil, I want them out, they are for the absolute majority, failing to integrate, causing horrific crime, destabilising the region, and at the least being used as cover by terrorist if not helping them, there is no reason at all, absolutely none, to allow any of them even near our nation. End of the day, if Immigration is so vital to economy, then we need to fucking focus on actually filtering people coming into our country, they should have the correct skills, and they should intend to be going to work for x amount of time, minimum of 5 years is best, and then they should be leaving, we have homeless and housing situations as it is and a lot of people to my knowledge in the UK are still jobless, but we're too wrapped up in the mess of what should have been fucking simple to carry out, Brexit should not have been so hard, May created a total fucking mess. I wouldn't really say I've watched or listened to too much of Farage but he does make fair points. And really I mean it doesn't matter where you look, politicians will always use one frustration or another to further themselves and get more clout, the left do it, Tories, labour and all that, they have done it plenty I'm sure. Politicians are politicians and they are naturally slimey, nothing new about Farage and what he does really, well, other than actually doing stuff with bettering the UK in mind, most politicians seem to fail making the UK their actual priority nowadays.
As for trade deals, and such of a likeness, we would take short term hits absolutely, but thinking short term is not how you run a nation. Long term we are absolutely better of, considering we would be fully in charge of our nation and it's agreements and laws again, and we would no longer be so weak, dependent or reliant on the EU.
Again to emphasis, the majority of these refugees will never fully integrate, and with them comes more spread of Islam, which of course is the most destructive religion in history, having killed more than two world wars have, over it existence, and easily done more damage, and gone to war more, than any other religion by leaps and miles. Still to this date it causes death and loss and chaos and destruction wherever it goes, it is a flawed religion at its base, and has a particular section of its holy book specifically stating that non believers should die. It is another one of the problems these economic migrants drag with themselves, and again very few of the good few million migrants will actually have any meaningful skill.

why don't you ask yourself about the future of Italy first?, didn't Matteo Renzi just said his government is about to give your banks 40000 million euros to save them from bankruptcy?, so are you going to reward banks for gambling with your money on hedge funds and shadow banking?, congratulations, without the UK the EU won't last 5 years, look at the Greeks, how much do you think it'll pass before they bailout again?, cause there's no doubt they will, and Mario Draghi is istill head of the BCE regardless the fact he helped the Greeks to hide their bloody mess, you're delusional if you think the EU will last more than 5 years without the UK and the ammount of trade with them, while they can reinvent themselves and look for Latin America, Asia and Africa for markets, while you can't.

This number hasn't gone down too much since then but now you have to pay tarrifs on everything you buy and sell to/from them. So I guess in that regard you are right. Germany, France, Spain and all the other countries are still selling their products to the uk. You only have to pay more for them.
Also funny how you say "we just want to trade with everyone" as if you couldn't do that while the uk was still a part of the EU. In fact it was easier then because of all the trade deals between the EU and many other countries which you now have to renegotiate with everyone.
And just a sidenote: Germany CAN form a government. In fact it has only been 1 1/2 months which, if you had checked, is way less than in 2017, 2013 or 2005 and they are pretty close towards completing their coalition talks.

Empty supermarket shelves. 20% of lorries grounded due to lack of drivers who went back to Poland (yes, 20%! That is so much money wasted for people who don’t know logistics), small businesses (or large ones) simply cannot sell a pair of shoes worth over roughly €70 to Europe (no one will ship it with all the paperwork) - try it yourself.
The French government who owns Nissan is deciding on the fate of people in Sunderland.
The fishermen are going bankrupt because as a third country we cannot sell to the EU.
Bozo threw NI under the bus.
Scotland is going to leave and now they have a good reason to do so.
