I'm hoping there's a Season Pass of some sort because with all these wrestlers the DLC could be double the day one price.
The roster is definitely stacked I’m curious about launch roster/dlc and of course the price hopefully they don’t price gauge like fight forever
@@unsanctionedtv404 This was awhile ago but they said the initial roster would only be about 50-65 people so considering they keep adding to it... Could get pricey swiftly, although I don't see them going full on Fight Forever. We shall see.
I hope they're not spending all their budget on the roster and way less on development, id rather have a great game with no official roster and a deep creation suite, just put all the wrestlers parts and moves in the game, definitely need to start seeing some gameplay

They most likely aren't paying those guys a dime yet. Contract is probably just a cut of the revenue for when it releases + DLC money (since they announced their business model to be a live service game with paid DLCs/additional content). the talent has nothing to lose, he just has to write in the dotted line as probably the contract hasnt exclusivity clauses (wrestlers are free to participate in other games, maybe they can even back off of the wrestling code altogether without having to pay breach of contract)
at most they got paid 1k bucks to snap a photo with the contract for social media.
@@ricsouza5011 I just hope it doesn't go the route of other games, where they release a trailer then have some influencer hype it up, they make some sales but the game turns out mediocre, I don't think we will ever get another good game from 2k
Wont hold my horses for this one. hobby project that failed to attract investor money, game never's going to launch. making a half decent fighting game is way harder than most people think, even if its sim and not arcade.
im hopeful for UPW though, that game actually seems it will be released unlike wrestling code
Saw the gameplay of Wrestling Code. It looked pretty terrible man.
None of this is final footage this game will be in development for a while will look completely different when it launches
