I hope this doesn’t sound odd but I very much listened to the way you two interacted. Nicole sounds so genuinely supportive of your creativity and you, Ben, are so willing, despite second guessing if the project will come out, go with her suggestions and techniques. I’m a newly wed and my husband and I bake together. This video just gives all the marriage feels … teamwork, warmth, enjoyment, and love. It’s inspiring :) ! On the Candy Cane coasters you should make a heart with two of them in the center
Forgot to say the video was great fun and wonderful seeing you both working together. If Nicole's glitter bauble was laid in different positions it could produce the wonderful bottom circle around the bauble. All looked great.

I think some colorful shavings would look good in the Christmas balls.
In case you aren't aware, baby wipes work very well for wiping resin off your hands (if you forget your gloves) and for wiping up small spills.
The original peppermint mini candy canes are the “secret” ingredient for my hot chocolate. Take two packets of instant cocoa and a single mini candy cane per cup. The candy cane will melt easier if you smash it up first. One of my college roommates absolutely LOVED my cocoa, and was amazed at how simple it was to make.
I like both of them. Everything looks very Christmas-y!
I don't celebrate the holidays myself, but the rest of my family does. I still hang out with them, but its just like any other time of the year for me.

I actually love Nicole's alcohol ink ball! It looks like it's glowing, even without the lights. So cool!
Merry Christmas you creative elves. One suggestion, more ink one or two drops isn’t enough. I squirt a ton in and dry with no heat or low heat. Issued spray paint inside too. Alcohol inks will reactive with each color. I’ve made a ton of ornaments this year. Better quality inks better results. I did add micas but they only show in blank spaces.

the way you talk casually just made my day lol! so a favorite one... that's difficult. i like all of them but nicole nailed the first one and the glitter ball (i love how the white looks like snow and the red looks like a present box). for the last, i love ben's one but the other is really close too. i'll pick nicole's glitter ball, it's stunning to me

a tip for the alcohol inks - cut it open with the tip facing up so it's mostly air that forces its way out, along with whatever ink is in the tip. when you do it on its side, the ink will get pushed out instead of the air, since the air bubble will float to the highest point.
this was such a fun video. cool projects and i always love when you have your wife or kids in the videos because i like to listen to you talking back and forth and with your wife you often think of fun new ideas together that might not have come up if you were on your own. (i love the videos with just you too, but it's a different feeling when you're both there)

Koala bear might look bear-like with their round ears and big black nose, they actually share more characteristics with other marsupials like the wombat.

When I was younger my family spent Christmas eve at my sisters house and Christmas day we all go to my grandma's house for the big Christmas day dinner now days i just home and do some Christmas meal

I used to use stained glass paint inside my baubles and then to speed up the drying I would drop a straw in them and place a fan blowing inside. the straw allows for more airflow

We do a lot of traveling for Christmas. I have a large family, my husband doesn't. In the end, we have 4 Christmas celebrations by the time we are done.

Doing something for the first time is always fun. They came out well. Except for the eco resin. I tried that for the first time a week or so ago. Wasn't a fan. every piece broke and had bubbles. I won't bother buying it again. Yesterday I tried making a wire bonsai tree. That was fun too. You both should try that. lol.
Maybe try some plaster of paris or salt dough in the little molds? Then try the inks on those?

The bulb you said you didn't like looked like a gold rose color on camera. I wish you had shown it after it dried. Putting lights inside the bulbs was a great idea! A bunch of those on the Christmas tree will be beautiful.

Love your videos! Especially when you're both on! Some tricks for the ornaments, you can use clear Elmer's glue with the glitter already mixed to help get a more ever color, then add more lose glitter inside for a thicker glitter layer or even for layering color, for example put gold glitter in the glue, spread it around in the ornament, let it drip out the extra and let sit 10 or 20 mins, then add red loose glitter, don't shake it, roll it, then pour out the red glitter and let dry.

These were some fun projects. I think the baubles are my favorites. I just got done mailing off a pair of clear plastic baubles (the split in half kind) I made little vignettes in for some friends. I've got 2 left over and I'm half tempted to try something with them after seeing this. Since mine don't have a hole and I don't trust my drilling skills with a slippery hemisphere, I'll probably just make a throwee (LED electric taped to a CR2032 battery) to put in it.
Figured I should add my method in case anyone else reading this later wanted to make bauble vignettes - I made a circle of cardstock for the "floor" that sat most of the way down in the bauble, and hot glued the pieces to that and built up the layers of the scene on that base. Then I hot glued that to the edge of the bauble on the "in" side (the side that slots into the other half so I didn't accidentally obstruct anything keeping me from putting them back together).
Koala bears are bears 😂😂😂.

Sadly all my extended family have passed away. I have a cousin and his family, but they live really far away so we don't get to see them much. So we just have a quiet family Xmas. I really miss the big family get togethers we had when I was younger. 😢

35:56 if you get a paintbrush 🖌️ dip in alcohol, dab around the dried alcohol ink and you can get a cool marble effect, or like a water color effect and the alcohol dries fast as well.

My almost 5 yr old and I both really like the UV resin ornament with lights, She called it the tie dyed one.
The candy cane heart caster is cool. I wonder if you could do that again but colour the inside of the heart different to the outside? You'd have to make a dam or something to keep the colours separate, would be an interesting experiment.
