I like how Etho just kind of Set up Camp on Day 1, and then Cleo walks in, then Grian walks in, and BDubs getting a bedroom. Soon the entire server gonna move on into Etho's camp.
Then the apocalypse happened and everyone moved into Etho's camp.
I love that Cleo reads her task and gets to work immediately, no distractions

I think you're right, stealing and convincing people to give are very different tasks. One is a a sneaky job and the other is a social job.
im surprised cleo even needed to put a disclaimer. it's simple English and I would be surprised if any hall monitoring happened. also, I don't think its fair for the task having the ability to be outed by the other racer. its supposed to be a race, whats the point if you can just out each other. im sure it would have been very easy to out your opponent that way

I cannot believe Bdubs day wasn't even a task it's just a gag and everyone kept it running.
Technically it was Etho's decoy task since his real task was physical and potentially really obvious. (Such as a 1 on 1 interaction or anytime he is expected to move as part of the conversation)

@@MeAndThePjoGang his real task was to be a weeping angel, meaning he couldn't move while someone was directly looking at him.
In a normal conversation this isn't hard, especially since Etho isn't Mumbo levels of figgity, but as soon as he is expected to move and can't it draws a lot of suspicion. (I know Lizzie and Grian figured him out, not sure if anyone else did before the hand in. Lizzie didn't call him out mainly because he was letting her use his nether portal.)

I'm still convinced Secret Life is Cleo and Etho's pre-divorce storyline. We've already established Bdubs and Etho's bond this episode, that will continue even after Etho moves out to live with TIES in the future. Only thing missing is Scar moving in and Grian "growing up" to live with his bachelor cousins.

I like to think of it as a sequel, Cleo and Etho get back together after they have an empty nest, Bdubs is needy and keeps coming back for resources and ends up reestablishing bonds with Etho, Scar moves out and becomes successful, and since they're a bit lonely with an empty nest Cleo and Etho end up adopting Grian

Gem even said it wouldn't have been fair to out Cleo _by reading her own task_ so I'm glad Cleo put in the "just wait five minutes" interjection, but at the same time I think that given the full context there is _zero_ ambiguity about this one, and there won't be any "hall monitoring" going on.
Also the racing element, Gem didnt mention it and I think it's a key-part of the task.
@@silversamm i think the task on both of theirs should have included that they could not out each other and any attempts at guessing it would be invalid. it's meant to be a race, whats the point if you can just out it, I'm sure the task would have been very easy to guess if you could do that and focused on making your opponent lose rather than focusing on winning it yourself. its a well made task, I like it, cleo was 100% in the right it's not stealing, but it definitely should have included that they could not out eachother.

on one hand i hate that the hall monitor situation has gotten this out of control and a bit of trust on the audience's side would go a very long way, on the other hand cleo going "hi! just in case, chill!" at around 4:30 is very very funny to me. amazing episode as always
Unfortunately the way this series was built only makes the hall monitor problem worse than it usually is. The way that things can be vague or interpreted in different ways paired with the reward aspect makes people want to make sure nobodys taking advantage. In their defense I think most of them are tweens. They don't realize that they're stressing people out they just want everything to be fair
I just realized that in the beginning of the episode, Chleo says that “stairs can’t hurt you” to Etho, but later Martin puts a puffer fish under a stair and poisons her.
When Cleo totally lost it while Grian was panicking...oh, I was almost crying! I also love that normally Bdubs is asking for recognition for his good deeds and whatnot...this session, he gets so much of it that he hates it 🤣

honestly i think Cleo's in the clear. I don't think it was the intention that the other racer could guess your task, otherwise its an instant fail.
No, she's in the clear because she said steal and not convince.
If we're going to guess about intentionality, then it seems more like it was intended that the other person would be yellow specifically so they could guess.
Maybe it was just written weirdly but they already know the yellow players can guess so there's no reason to warn against talking to yellows in the task unless it was a warning about the other racer.
I think it was purposely done so that yellows can guess and instant win the race. But since Gem decided not to compete using her yellowness Cleo is in the clear 😊

This session just had all the multi participant tasks. From the tag to the door race to hot potato, so many people were just running around.

Steal is taking it (preferably without being seen), convincing is getting them to give it to you (Like Gem would say after she failed her guess)
there is no "thinking" by going by the terminology of the English language it is by fact that cleo is in the clear. there is no opinions here, there is no thinking, cleo is in the clear and that's that. this is very bare bones english and if anyone has a problem with this I would assume they're not even a native English speaker

Cleo was definitely right in saying no Gem messed up when she had a perfect opportunity to win her task without competition
Something cool you could do with those enderman eggs could be to spawn a lot in one spot and then throw a splash potion of invisibility. It's not very practical, but it might serve as a tactical advantage when the enemy can't look at you without taking a risk
That is certainly evil if nothing else. (Bring a pumpkin if you try it) It could definitely be a red task.
Although personally i would make multiple enderman spawners and hide them in strategic locations. (Atleast one being for exp in my base, which would also provide eggs for this sort of thing.)

Task Idea: Act as if your are attacking a red person. If you hit the person you fail. If the person attacks or hits you back you fail. Do this on all red names.
Task Idea: Take a yellow name with you to the end to get yourself an elytra but not for the other
Hard Task: Be in a boat for the whole session. You can only come out of the boat for going up. If anyone sits in your boat you fail. If your boat breaks you fail.
