@@nathanhughes9033 I was diagnosed with both breast and lung cancer....had a mastectomy of the right breast so that's all good but the lung cancer is a little more tricky. They removed a third of my lung and breathing is difficult, but overall I'm doing pretty good. Thanks for asking. Listen to Sam everyday!!

I'm a musician and I play a CAISA. For me personally, Sam Maher is the world's best HANG - PAN player. His interplay of melody and rhythm is absolutely perfect, unique, simply brilliant. Sam makes the HANG game what music should be at its core - a deep resonance that enchants the heart, soul and senses. Certainly Sam is a natural - talent, but it takes a lot of hard work to reach this level of the game. I have the deepest respect for that. So my dream is to be able to experience Sam in a live concert. Thank you Sam! It's great that you're there! 🙏

Yes, that happened to me also. It has something magic in it, feels like healing. It definitely relaxes your brain because of the warm beautiful sound and melody
Heard of this instrument for the first time today. The Caribbean steel drum origins are apparent, but the sound is a category of its own. Listened to several other selections online. This one has the "magic". The best "New Age" music is not the "relaxation" or background instrumentals, but something like this, that takes the foreground and stirs the senses. A good day is when I hear a new piece of music I never heard before. Today is a good day.
It was inspired by steel drums but it was actually invented in Switzerland.
It's a much purer tone, and the notes are on pitch (they are finely tuned with assistance from electronics- it's quite a science -see czcams.com/video/pR9ZTMMvtPI/video.html )

I have ordered a rakumi 12" 13 note steel tounge drum as I cant quite afford such a lavish purchase as a handpan, and I plan to play it until my fingers fall off.
