Problems with the first item listed: there's no section under SETTING > GENERAL > ABOUT entitled BATTERY; therefore, not CYCLE COUNT. Why go further? UPDATE: unlike the description in the video, CYCLE COUNT in found only after going into the BATTERY HEALTH section.

Love your work mate - I just switched from my old 12 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max today. You know why? Because I accidentally shattered one of the camera lenses on my old phone. 😬 Anyway, this new one is pretty awesome, but if you're rocking the 11 Pro Max and your battery's still hanging in there, I'd say don't bother upgrading.
I see it like this - your phone is just a tool. If it's still doing everything you need it to, why mess with a good thing? Once it starts acting up and causing problems, that's when you should consider an upgrade.
And seriously, if you're constantly getting a new phone every year, you're basically just making those tech companies even richer. 😉

Totally agree. My solution is to play the video at a slower speed and I find that it does help.
Click the gear in the top right corner of the video to get to settings, then click “playback speed” and then lower it to a demonization under 1.00

The battery cycle count feature is new. There was previously a way to obtain this data but it wasn’t as easy.
@brandon it’s just been a week that I bought my phone and my cycle count is already 7 is that ok ?
i got my iphone in December 17, and now my battery cycle count is 24, is that okay?
My new 15 pro does not have the battery cycle count, Mfg date or First Use - I just received it from Verizon. Upgraded my iOS about 2 hours ago. Does this vary by carrier or country? - Update, it's under the Battery Health screen!

Setting the Action Button to magnifier is a gamerchanger! Now I can read the microscopic text on a label when I'm in a store.
The ability to check how many times the phone has been charged is also incredibly useful. Mine is new!

It’s my second time watching this type of video content from you. Always helpful! Switched from 12 to 15 and it feels like a big jump! A couple of tips I didn’t do on my phone since I availed of apple care so I feel braver to use the phone’s capabilities. I'm a senior citizen who has just bought an iPhone 15. I bought it simply because I can no longer do without it. I have no idea how to use it. I thought this video would help me. It's too technical and too complex for me to follow. KISS - keep it simple...! It would also help if the presenter did not talk so fast!
Add this is the third presenter I have tried, he actually talks slower than the other two! It does help to set the setting at a lower speed, but sometimes, usually actually, it’s too slow then. I don’t know why nowadays it seems so many people just talk too fast.
I promise, just spend a weekend pushing buttons so to speak, I promise it WILL get easier, you’ll see that it’s intuitive

As for the camera, RAW is best, especially if you use photoshop programs and apps, that aren't Apple, because some might not recognize HEIF format

Standby mode is cool if you don’t have sleep focus mode. I want to use as a bedside clock, but have a sleep focus so it will timeout standby mode (blank locked screen) if it’s enabled

I got my 15 a week after launch and i can confirm that this is true, i personally use a case but without one the phone feels ridiculously soft and smooth

I’ve only had my 15 pro two days & I have already discovered not all USB-C cables are created equal. Trying to find one that will allow me to use Apple CarPlay is a challenge.

I ended up with the 15 Plus, for two main reasons. First, I didn’t care for the titanium and second I use the mute switch a LOT and wanted to keep it. Also, I REALLY wanted pink 😂

@BrandonButch is there a reason Siri can no longer play “my favourite song” when asked to? After the update Siri started telling me that he can’t read my mind whereas before he would play a station made specifically made for me which was quite accurate and amazing.
Also, the Apple Music queue and lack of prompt when playing something that’s not queued and erasing the queue. Can you please shed more light on that?

well after getting 15 i actually dont feel i miss the pro....its best lightest phone of the series.

I just got the 15 pro max yesterday so thank you for these tips. My one thought on the action button would be to make it so a long press accesses the options page. I find it a pain to scroll through settings to pick and choose. Hope that's a software fix someday soon.
Hello i am new to the Iphone and i appreciate the video, but i have something to say about the battery limit, that is not on IPhone exclusive since Samsung have that for so long and i love because really help to the battery a lot.
I wish the icon for the default battery looked the same as the one that shows battery percentage sans the numbers. It’s just so much more slick and modern as opposed to the default. But I don’t like seeing the numbers, sadge
You should know that the USBC cords ARE limited.
I have 2 crap USBC cables I bought in Mexico for almost nothing, and they do not work with my pro max, no matter what I do.
All other cables work fine, with or without Apple bricks, with or without Apple cables. So, there is a threshold. It’s not a very high bar, but it does exist.
In contrast my S23 Ultra charged with every cable, no exceptions
Great information on new iPhone 15. I just got iPhone 15 pro max. Love it but hope u can help with one thing that changed. My 12 pro used to give a sound notification when I received a new message. The new 15 doesn’t give me any sound notifications. How do I get it to make sound again for my contacts who message me.

Hey @BrandonButch There is something I found out about the iPhone 15 boxes it comes in. It was random when I found out about this, but I was walking in my room and had my blacklights on, and I noticed that when you had it on the iPhone, words popped up on the back of it when you peeled the little stickers with the green arrows on them. That could be a sign of a real iPhone, not a fake one. I think you should mention this in the next video you post to let people know about it, and if you have a black light, I think you should check it out for yourself too so you know that I'm not making any of this up.
