Always loved Alex's catchphrase! "Paint it any vay you like it!" I remember Alex on PBS when I was 6. My parent loved watching his show. I liked Alex's enthusiasm!
My grandfather learned how to paint from watching Mr.Alexander’s show back in the 70s and when I was a kid my granddaddy taught me how to paint by watching Bill’s videos and by watching my granddaddy. I’ve actually never painted an actual painting and now at 28 I want to give it a try. Can you go to a art supplies store to buy his materials or online
Yes on line and stores called Blick have Bob Ross I bought on sale his paints and brush set and other stuff too I am 71 now and started with Bob Ross with my acrylic paints not one looks like his I did my own thing want to try to follow him better now that I have his stuff starting soon pained a lot of 8x10 canvas bought at Michael’s 10 at a time on sale too first painted with Bob in Feb 2020 with my acrylic paints.
I just started watching you recently and I enjoy you much as I do Bob Ross and I needed info on the light and you have given me much insight on this thank you again didn’t know I could paint like this only drew lines going all directions with markers it is amazing what God has done and I thank Jesus Yeshua for saving me I am a new person in them all three and yet they are one as I and my Father God are one hope all is well with you all too praying for us all we need Jesus Yeshua more than anything else in this world I have seen and know them more than I realized was possible but all things are through Him thank you again sharon
I would like to know what went on in his brain. To paint something that does not make sense in the start of the painting and then all of the sudden you see what he explained in the begining. He brings everything to life. I love this mans work.
I missed Bill's zest for life and his neverending confidence. I could have a miserable day and he would scream FIRE IT IN! Those words changed my whole day for the better!
Excellent example very interesting drawing and especially job training for the opportunity you have nice ideas about drawing Thanks you is valuable and important for learning drawing Thanks you great tichel
he does not say what colour he mixes ( my main problem) but i love the way he talks, like a grand father who has a lot to teach but doesnt have enough time.
*through the beautiful trees, a waterfall could be seen, a rainbow reflecting through it. A comforting breeze could be felt through the winds. You saw fish, gliding through the water, some jumping an and out of it. The comforting air caressing your face, breezing through your hair as the wind would carefully graze the trees, making their green leaves sway. The colors you saw made you feel...happy. You felt true peace and comfort.*
the only problem with this technique is that it is too costly for me. i always wanted to do it but i had to stop because of the big expenses for the canvas and paints. i will definitely try this out one day

This takes me back! I was just a kid (maybe 9 or 10) when I first started learning to paint thanks to Bill. Amazing memories.
Great artist, generous teacher and, unforgettable human being.
Why do I really look forward to his "tree trunks"? I love them. 06:20. His technique is so enjoyable to watch over and over again.

Amazing how he can put his vision on canvas
Anyone can do it if they believe in themselves.

Why would you post an art program at only 240p?
