Thanks for that comparison JD 👌🏻 with my last 300x ski I used XPS lube for 10 years without issues. Had taken the supercharger out and disassembled at the 170hr mark (ski was about 9 years old) with zero corrosion evident. Another that my Kawasaki dealer carries, recommended and threw in with the purchase of my LXS as a fogging oil is Torco spray lube. Torco is not a common brand in Australia I believe it’s a US brand. I agree like you said, I would never use WD-40. Seems to be more of a solvent product rather than leaving a lasting coating like the others.
You know I’ve heard of Torco but I could not find it for sale anywhere here or even on Amazon. I wish Kawasaki would formulate and sell their own brand of fogging oil!

Yeah the WD does a great job at keeping everything clean..maybe too clean? I havnt had any mechanical issues using it, but since my ski is getting up there in hours I wanted to start using a true “purpose built” fogging oil that will provide more lubrication
Stupid question. What about combination of foggers? 3 to 4 seconds of WD40 which keeps intercooler in great shape and another quick 3 to 5 seconds of your favorite fogger(star right) for supercharger?
Amazing as usual! I'll order the #1 or #2 option as soon as I get my ski back😂. I bought the corrosion block in the gallon jug and use a hairspray bottle to apply it so I couldn't use it to fog if I wanted to.
Yeah she's down again. I had a plug issue (couldn't grab the phone fast enough to record and share with you). Had to get towed in on Sunday. I noticed a loss in power but I didn't trust my instincts because it's been 6 freaking months... I forgot how evil the ski is supposed to feel. Additionally, they didn't fix the storage latch, they removed my thumb nuts ( which meant I couldn't diagnose on Saturday on the water). But they're going to install those stainless ratchet straps to the transom ( the ones you recommended) and they're going to clean all my foot wells, replace my cover with genuine kawi, and they are supposed to make the rack easy to remove without a wrench -- I gave them your solution and told them to do whatever they felt was best. Sigh stay tuned, they picked it up last Wednesday. Hopefully the mechanical issue was just a dead plug...I could see it malfunctioning during the Sunday flush (visible sparks). Did I mention I lost to a Sea-Doo on Sunday? Of all the things this is what really grinds my gears. I should have got his number so I could rematch.

Dude…. tell them you don’t want that ski back until they take it out and confirm that everything is right. Hell next time just bring it to my house and I will help you fix it myself. They are putting you through the ringer. You should write a letter to kawasaki corporate and complain about how long they’ve had your ski- sounds to me like whoever is working on your ski are a bunch of idiots…sorry you can’t enjoy the ski that really sucks and it pains me to hear about your struggles…
If you could see visible sparks, that is definitely not a dead plug…more like a severed plug wire or something. I’m serious though..if they can’t get their shit together and fix your damn ski, bring it to my house and I will take a look at it
I’m curious as to how long you plan on keeping your 310. Because you’ve done all these mechanical and cosmetic upgrades, it’d be a shame to part ways with it. You mentioned in your video about checking the impeller that it might be to replace the pump? Maybe when Kawasaki ups the HP you’ll get another one? Good content as always keep it up -Stuart Peck

I am not sure about the ams oil fogging oil, but i know when i was running my 2000 kawi zr600R street bike and tried ams oil for a couple oil changes i was not getting the amount of millage i would normally get with kawi branded oil. kawi branded oil I would change every 6k km - ams oil i would need to change at 4k km as the motor would start getting louder and feel that it was working harder then it should. I tried ams oil in my 2010 yamaha nytro 1049cc snowmobile and same thing. Needed to change oil before interval as motor seemed louder and to be working harder then it needed to be. I Switched my snowmobile oil brand to 0w40 mobile 1 European blend and it has been great and half the price of ams oil and or yamalube. I have my doubts on ams oil even though many people use it. I steer clear of ams oil product now. ams oil is over priced lower quality oil in my opinion, over hyped with a slightly cheaper price tag then oe oil.
5-10 seconds. I spray until I hear the engine start to chug (that means fogging oil is getting into combustion chamber with means it’s coating valves- which is good for storage)

What about alternating between WD-40 and Star Brite? That way WD-40 can clean up the system every 3 or 4 rides, then using Star Brite as lubricant the rest of the time?
JD is there a way I can send you some photos? I just purchased an Ultra 310LX and I don’t believe my trailer hook up in the front is set up right. They have the rubber roller on the front plastic part of the bumper and it’s already damaged. Please help!

Great Review! I have used Stabil fogging oil but find that the new packaging has a nozzle too large to fit into the port fitting.
