    I have just started watching your videos. I just had my thyroid removed and am awaiting on what the next steps are in my thyroid cancer journey. I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this. I do hope you get through this mess! I know you have several newer videos, but I am watching these in order. I am hoping that one of the videos will be a cancer-free/remission video. Please know that your videos have brought me comfort thus far. Praying for you!

    Just discovered your channel. RI treatment for me meant to shut in all my stuff (books electronic devices and all I got into contact with) for 6 months after treatment. So did you have to shut away this camera for 6 months, too?

      I didn't need to, everything I took in the room with me was checked for radiation levels before discharge. My phone had to be wrapped in film when I was in there and removed before I left. One of the things they encourage is frequent hand washing as the RAI can come out through skin oils.

      @@JoePlater thanks for replying, good to know.
      Back in 2000 when a nodule was treated, they did not tell me that.
      Now waiting for a nuclearmedical scan to find Parathyroid PTH producing adenoma, something tells me, there will be something rare in the rare again, as has happened with several Health related issues in the past.
      Chose the youtube name accordingly, nothing usual about this one :-}
      Wishing you many years of keeping the Beast at bay.

    That’s not what you should be eating.
    Nutrition is everything.. but people just want to eat for pleasure

    This was hard to watch. Bread? Pasta? Apple pie (!) on a cancer patient? The doctors failed this man
