    The guide with the glasses actually talked some major BS. Ginseng is not safe to consume by pregnant women, it may lead to miscarriage. Also, the thing she said about the C being replaced by K by the Japanese is not true at all. Both spelling versions were common and used by Korean transcribers even pre-Japanese occupation.

    The reason why Korea is spelled with "K" is simply because the letter "C" can have multiple sounds in English, so it would be unclear how to pronounce it. That's the reason, not the nonsense that this woman said.

There are Chinese in North Korea just as there are Chinese everywhere. Of course her whole family kept Chinese language even if she was schooled in Korean language. No matter what happens i consider North Korea to be Korea, and South Korea is a puppet of the USa. I hope South Korean will one day have the honesty to admit they have betrayed their ancestors and reject all their ties with the USa and accept to become part of Korea. Maybe it's Usa that needs to come down in North america first for that to happen.

    Thank you for this. It as ever shows the areas N Korea wants us to see but even so is interesting. However that idea that Ginseng is good for everything just shows how uneducated they are - it may be good for some things but can be dangerous for others. It probably reflects a shortage for them of medicines which work.
    The dislike of the Japanese by Koreans north and south is understood although it is time to let it go as most of us have in the West about past atrocities against us.

    • @physics77guy
      @physics77guy Před 4 lety +11

      you do know that it's not the North Koreans who believe it, throughout China, Taiwan, South Korea they are crazy about this root, it has nothing to do with uneducated, its tradition. In India, we have traditional medicine and if you talk to a doctor who is not a naturopath he will say are you stupid to take that medicine but people take it because this is what was used when modern medicine was not there. so we should not say they are uneducated
