Awesome effect! Well done. I have a similar setup with kinect and projector and am trying to create a similar effect but I can't get the particlegpu to react the opticalflow. Could you share your project file or a screenshot of your settings? I've tried all effector settings but it just won't react. In the tutorials I have seen the particlegpu node has a separate opticalflow input, but it doesn't have that anymore. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
I downloaded an older version of Touchdesigner which had the opticalflow input for the particlesgpu node, it works perfectly :) Have you tried the latest versoin of touchdesigner and got this to work there?
the current version has working optical flow, and older versions have it too. but there was some time in between where it didnt work. also keep in mind that opcial flow only works in one plane (maybe its xy, not sure), thats not well explained.
