► This video contains the cutscenes AND gameplay of the playstation 2 video game, Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore. My first introduction to this game was the fifth one in the series. When I saw that the second installment was on PS2, I had to get it :) It's definitely no Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter, but this game is a lot of fun. I also liked the fact that when you only put one round in the options, you actually only play one round. As I have done with all games that have multiple characters with multiple story arcs, the order in which character's story you will see is in ABC order. Ayane is up first and Zack is last. I included some gameplay bits such as the fighting to make it a more cinematic experience. This game movie is NOT only about characters ending, but their story leading up to the ending as well. Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore is a fighting video game developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo. It is the second main entry in the Dead or Alive fighting series. The game's plot focuses on the evil tengu, Gohyakumine Bankotsubo, who escaped from the tengu world into the human world, and the Dead or Alive tournament's change in purpose and significance after the murder of DOATEC's founder and CEO, Fame Douglas. The playable chracters are Ayane, Bass Armstrong, Ein, Gen Fu, Helena Douglas, Jann Lee, Kasumi, Leifang, Leon, Ryu Hayabusa, Tina Armstrong and Zack. Tengu and Bayman are unlockable but DOES NOT have a story mode.
