Omg I love these!! I always thought it was weird how they made Luna a light blueish purple, since her original color would've worked just fine (I'm thinking of Nightcrawler and Mystique, since they also have dark blue skin)
She was always my favorite of the princesses 🖤🌑
i think the spikes in Celestia's hair were supposed to be shaped like a crown. They certainly could've done it better, though

you did really good with keeping the suits! and Luna having vitiligo makes very much sense with her unusual cutie mark. i'm always partial to very "naturalistic" conclusions like oh, Celestia is the princess of the sun so she should have skin that can handle a lot of sun - she should be dark. i would otherwise like to see Luna as having albinism, since she wouldn't be able to be out in the sun for long, but then her dark hair is out of place.
I just realized the hair spikes are supposed to look like crowns. 😃
Literally almost all professional artists: simplify the shapes, you don't have to detail your drawings too much.

WOAH! i REALLY REALLY love the Luna design! Up until now i never really thought of my childhood show to have human redesigns really, but i remember that i always thought Luna was black and Cadence… is from Sweden for some reason? Idk thats how i thought when i was younger. Ik some people are very disagreeable with your Celestia design, but people have to remember: This is a HEADCANON, not only that,but the character in the show don’t have human skin colour,it’s abnormal. So for any characters that don’t have human skin colour, can be whatever race im someones headcanon. But im not really agreeable if a characters race was changed completely..Like this one girl who made Deku from MHA black. Thats blackwashing and taking aways his Asian representation. Or like when people used to make the Encanto characters lighter (white washing). I don’t agree with that or ever will 😅. But for mlp characters,or any in general that don’t have human skin colour, is totally fine for me!
I agree with everything, except I don't care that much when people make black anime edits🤷but I'm also a white slavic person so I'm not really the one to talk here ig lmao💀I just stick to drawing raceless characters👍

Yeah don't worry about those who disagree. People can definitely disagree. But is everybody forgetting the concept of alternate universe?.. It means everything can be different from the universe it's based on. From storylines to even looks. The human world of Equestria girls is exactly that.. An alternate reality. I believe sunset shimmer said it herself " what happens when you bring an element of harmony to an 'ALTERNATE' world"

I love your art style but these looks just don't feel like the characters to me (this isn't meant to be hatful) but it all seems just to formal especially since there school isn't a private school in the actual movies, with the first redesign it feels very out of place and doesn't seem like something a principal would wear (the scarf is killing me it's giving off gay styro types) although I do like the hair I feel like it could have been played with more like jn a ponytail and all the colours just seem off to me and don't really match with shades and stuff. The second one is my favourite, I like her hair and I like her face and the colours are really well done but it just doesn't feel like something the character would wear at all and the scarf again is killing me. The third redesign is sadly my favourite because I love the character as well but its once again way to formal, the hair is something I could never imagine her in and the body just doesn't match the head and the whole outfit looks way to much for a normal day at her job- keep in mind j watched thus on mute and I may be a artist but def not as good as you so take this lightly please and keep up the good work 👍
Well, I respect your opinion, but this is the direction I wanted to go with🤷I went to a public school and all teachers and especially the principal would dress formally so idk. I also didn't want them to blend in with the students if I made the outfits more casual. About the hair I do agree kinda. With Celestia I could have done more, maybe if I draw her again I'll play around with other styles. About the colors I literally picked them from the og characters, but maybe through shading and stuff they look different. About the scarfs idk I like them😭
