In the Great Migration, both wildebeest and zebra play important roles in leading the journey across the Serengeti. While wildebeest often take the lead in finding water and new grazing areas, zebras are known for their keen memory of migration routes
and can also guide the herd.

The great migration is not a Serengeti in Tanzania only issue.This migration ends in Maasai Mara in Kenya and then back to Serengeti.So it should be called Serengeti-Maasai Mara great migration. This is the region in Tanzania and Kenya occupied the Maasai people.
