Why haven't they added historic stats into the game? I want to look back 10 years on and see the numbers of my past players and just players in general across the leagues. Should be really simple to implement as well.
and this is perfectly done in their NHL games, and has been for quite a while
I have been asking for the same thing for years now. Hopefully it get implemented in the near future.
I'm certainly not making excuses for them, because in general I think they have done a rubbish job with the game now for years, but I think the historical stats issue comes down to there being many thousands of players in the game and the amount of memory it would take to have historical stats for all of them. To be fair, NHL and NBA have what is it, 30 teams a piece, with an NHL team being about 25 players and an NBA team being about 12. FIFA is hundreds of teams with 20-40 players per team. Again, not excusing them in general, but in this issue I understand, even if I would like to see it too.

They’ve been making career mode for over 15 years for crying out loud but historical stats are “difficult to implement” stop giving them leeway to be lazy

If a player plays poorly throughout the season, in the next season, he is supposed to get a downgrade. MGH, have you ever talked about that?
Players do not always grow in real life...
I guess is what is missing is choosing where i want to loan my players to, like i don't want to wait to receive offers, i want to purpose a player to a specific club to be loaned then they would accept or not, that would be more interessing to manage recently promoted youth players.

on career mode, for transfers they should bring back the ability to enquire for players and hold talks without putting in a bid for the player as in real life. And all players ratings should be known and the scouts will be needed to deploy historic (and advanced) stats on that player based on the option you choose either historic data like appearances, goals, assists, or for advanced stats like xG, xA , progressive carries , and all that the scouting time should be more than just fetching historic stats. It gives the best experience this way in my opinion

Mediocre upgrades as always. Managers should leave clubs, get sacked, get poached etc. Playing the SAME teams with the same tactics for years gets dull as hell.

@WWE2KUNIVERSEELITE we suggested youth team, players pushing for moves, add ons (qualify for CL - 5M extra) , pay in installments, obligation to buy loans, sponsors, youth leagues, realistic transfers, realistic play styles. NONE OF IT!

it.there is so much that should be in-game...they literally dont have proper players stats in most popular game on planet...you cant see players carrer stats and stuff like that, thats criminal..also financial side makes zero sense ...all those things can be made easly and use fm as example...but they dont do it cause they dont care...also commentators are by far the worst i ever heard in any sport simulation game ..they use same 20 lines whole career mode ...0 info about the season,0 info about the players , when you consider how much money ea have this is just worst sport game overall, gameplay is the best thing and thats

Yes it is an upgrade to career mode but it is just a shame that the coaches that can be hired were a thing back in the day like fifa 2005 days so it is not new but just returning. I am still missing be able to set up a youth team with scouted players to keep them happy a bit longer without having to commit them to the first team. And are there any more upgrades to create a club like actually modiying the player names and appearances and can we create a stadium these are things that are needed. Also more options to create your own kit not only for create a club but also modifying options for actual existing clubs to keep a career mode fresh. Maybe have a possibility to use a retro kit in a one off or something

The reality is this is not worth $70. I will not buy this at all. This is practically an update that is all. The game clearly focuses only on ultimate team since it is the milk machine. I guess I have to learn football manager
Do it mate, it's a good time. They have a huge graphics overhaul coming for FM25 so if you learn the game now in the meantime, when that releases you'll already know your way around and can enjnoy all the new stuff.

Gameplay looks exactly the same. Every goal in this video has been scored a billion times. We used to hire coaches back in the old fifa games, nobody cares about training, it will get skipped after the first try and then we’re back to fifa 21 again. 😢
Bolton is still going to have 350 million by season two and liverpool will still be playing with trent arnold as striker and Fabinho as a keeper because they sold every keeper

Every year we hope, but this year I hoped even more then normal. Bc of the fifa tot EA FC change. But got dissapointed again … so sad. So much potential every year. The ideas are even suggested by community and youtubers like Matt..
Me too. It's disappointing they had a chance to do a big rebrand for career and did absolutely nothing. They added a training and tactics menu you'll use once. Just like the first time they added those menus. The coach market will be boring and all you'll do is rearrange them every once in a while to boost some player's development. And you're lying to yourself if you think you're going to play those training drills to boost even one player's ability for a single game. Nobody likes doing them once at the start of the season, forget doing it every match. Once again EA makes the most boring additions sound game changing. Don't look up, kids. That isn't rain.
If not everything the community asked for, we should’ve atleast got a social media page like we had in the journey throughout fifa 17-19.

They need to fix basics like player objectives. Losing so much manager rating and being out of the starting 11 because you had a rating of 7.4 instead of 7.5 is ludacrious. Make AI a bit better when playing player career because playing as a midfielder is a pain when every time I pass the ball they just give it away instantly and I end up having to do all the work defensively and offensively. Make the transfer market less active. I don't want to see Koundé and Hernandez being tossed around to a new team every season. I used to LOVE old player progress system. You have to make 10 assists to go up in passing and having to score with your weak foot to earn a weak foot star used to be so challenging and fun.

The point of changing the name to eafc was to a avoid paying fifa multi millions for a licensing agreement. It had nothing to do with gameplay it’ll basically be the same game.

Not going to lie this is disappointing it's like they don't seem to really care about other modes i like ut but also a massive career mode fan come on EA treat the other modes with respect too not everyone's here for UT.

Cut scenes are good if they are veried. The new transfer cut scene in Fifa 23 🤦🏽♂️ It got boring after second transfer. And why do you have to walk a player out when they get sold

One thing you & your fans might be overlooking is the tactical changes that you can make in game. Setting up the ultra def-def-att-ultra att options in your line ups once you start the season can help you setup your play style even more for the season ahead. I.E. when playing a big “must win” game & you score a goal w/ 20 mins left you click left on the d-pad to choose your ultra def setting to see out the win or they score on you so you choose your att setting to try to tie the game, etc. then when you make signings you can switch those tactics to adjust to the players attributes. That ties into the new tactical breakdown feature so you see their att style & def style that way you adjust yours accordingly to take advantage of their setup, I.E. they play with a high defensive line so you adjust your att setting for direct passing so that when you win the ball back you take advantage of the space in behind. It adds more to the gameplay & will add more to your videos.
Won the Treble with NewCastle but had a 59 Rating for not signing 3 Players from North America 😭
The cutscenes are the same as they are in FIFA this year. Kinda dissapointing.

@@Heyyothebadguy123they’re never going to overhaul. It’s always gonna be like 5 changes across both career mode types
1- How about being in more control of club finances? (Jersey prices, ticket sales, parking fees)
2- Create a club should be able to have different sponsorship contracts and logo for kits.
3- Teams 3rd kit should be able to change color every season (keep design just change color)
4- Reserve team?
5- Player mentorship where you can have a young prodigy learn off a more senior player and maybe get a special trait.
6- STATS! We want to be able to go back into our players past and view stats.
7- Trophy cabinet / trophy room
8- Being able to switch clubs/apply jobs whilst in transfer window. (or end season after last game so that changing clubs reflect correctly on history)
9- Personal contract negotiation with your club.
10- GIVE US SOMETHING TO DO WITH OUR MANAGER SALARY!!!!!! (easy fix let clothing items, accessories, manager traits, personal assistant and vehicle cost money)

Good suggestions. Several of them really should be simple to implement. Things like a trophy cabinet. Can't be that hard to give us that, and it's small touches like that would be appreciated.

I see no improvement. The only things they have changed are the 'training' mini-games that no one cares about, added some crap coaching stuff and tweaked the names of the tactics. Why couldn't they build set piece plays, tactical instructions for on ball, off ball and transition for each player and develop more advanced tactics like Football Manager? Bet they haven't even added more managers to the game or real faces. Player career is a joke also, you can't even create a player to begin in league 2 because the lowest rating for a created player is about 67 and improves by around 10 each season - It's too easy! I'll stick with FIFA 23 for the time being and hope next years game along with FM25 is an improvement.

What they should upgrade is the player instructions in formations. Give us more options. One of them missing is the Sweeper CB
I miss that as well, especially because I used to play that position in real life, but I think they did away with it because it is more or less defunct in real life.
How hard is it to add a fucking goal history tab so u can look back from previous seasons an compare how many goals someone scored 🙄
Also why are we still not getting a bigger bench ? like in real life they have a way bigger bench to use more players ffs

Sure the casual player is just going to play the game, but it is nice to have deeper features available to use if you want and are not a major detriment if you decide not to.
that view from the stands is so fucking cool, I'm excited. I wished they would put a trophy cabinet somewhere so we can visually see our achievements. gets annoying having to go into the my career tab to see how many trophies I've won.
Training Plans are going to get so boring after 5 mins… they’ve basically just reworked the “weekly schedule” in FIFA 23 where you can decide if your players have “rest”, “recovery” or “training”.

Please god no, not more training drills. It is such a dull feature. The last thing I want to have to do is actually play the training drills. Don't mind putting a plan together for each player, but please don't make me actually play it.

but if we want more realism, and the game to be closer to what happens irl, this is exactly what happens. So its good if you want realism. If you dont it doesnt really impact you (maybe). You can continue just like the previous games. Its good.
Just to point out, it doesn't say here that Manager Career will be getting the Ballon Dor stuff or the trophy parades etc. This is presented as part of Player Career only.

Youth squad legends will definitely be tougher this year. You will have to spend the money you do have on youth scouts and not on better coaches

Also would like to see loan back and buy back clauses back in the game plus in both manager and player career mide would lke the option to start without the club and perhaps for a player to have to go in for trials to earn a contract

We’d to revamp the loaning system for youth players, there’s no reason why my 16 year old youth player goes to play half way across the world lol, give us options to give clubs options to take our youth players on loan.

@@arronnoice3629 because it would make more sense for a youth player to go to a lower league club in the country you are in, so giving you the option to go up to clubs and ask them if they would be interested in taking any of your youth players on loan would be a great idea

I think it's moer they've tried t okeep the game interestin whilst at the sam etime keeping the casual feel tha tthey established with Fifa. Because if there's one thing I've always liked about Fifa career mode is that it's fun interesting and casual at the same time to the point where I consider it a comfort game. I think what they're trying to do here is add some different bits and ideas without trying to lose that. Personally I like what they'er trying to do and I'm up for giving the new game a go but we will see.

Staff was literally a thing back in FIFA 06, pre-set tactics (tiki taka etc) is just jazzing up the custom tactics slightly that have been there for years and cutscences (excluvsive on next gen btw) I remember seeing in PES2009
The training cutscenes and stuff would be cool but I find it a bit odd they weren't mentioned at all in the video, you'd have thought they'd have said something if they'll actually be in the game and haven't just been created to be used here as background footage?

will player career ever get youth national teams and tournaments? would be a nice scenario to blow up during a tourney and get a move to an academy work ur way up maybe even let you be able to choose more than one nationality as a character trait and get approached by one of those countries, just my 2 cents 🤷🏾♂️
Excessively grindy plus an U20 team wouldn't make sense seeing as the minimum age in game is 19 in addition ppl wanna play a pro career not a pre-pro career
@@therealgamergpre pro career would be good a feature for fifa just like nba2k. You start from high school and work your way up to the NBA. Gives your player a story and makes it feel authentic. Starting from academy level and working yourself up

@@ireignsupreeeme7 they could do all this but they won't. You don't even have to try and you're basically world class after your first season. It's fundamentally broken and looks basically untouched again.
If development plans succeed faster with only 1 of 17 stars already, it might well be absolutely OP if you have 17/17 stars via staff...

Na it’s not in the game neither is having ball playing CBs, inverted full backs ect. They really think they did something with the tactics feature but it’s lacklustre

Or having a style like Brighton or arsenal playing out from the back where you have to buy keepers & defenders who can pass but these things don’t matter in the game
@jackninetynine5036 Tactics are non existent in FIFA now. So it pretty much makes Career Mode fall on its face. No matter how many times I try to change current awful tactical options, the players don't follow it. It's infuriating. Meanwhile the AI, they move and make runs off the ball but act stupid sometimes. My players just stand like training cones on the break most of the time or barely make an effort to run.
I'd hate it if I had to do a training drill before each game. I hate training drills.
