    It was a nice ring and it could be even better if you could use a darker wood.

    Cool ring but here's an idea.. DONT PLAY HIP HOP or whatever that filth was you subjected us to while making a GUITAR ring. Play some heavy riffs man. 🤘🏻

    What lathe did you use? It looks very compact and not to small

      I am pretty sure it is this one, although I ordered it from a different site so I can't take any responsibility for this one's credibility. In my opinion it's a great lathe for small projects!

    Did you do a super glue finish? Because if so I can’t imagine how many bottles you’d have to use to get a coat that thick

    • @b.b.crafts6363

      Yeap, I don't really remember but I don't think it was that much.. maybe a small tube of super glue 😅

    What type of veneer did you use? How did you get it to bend so easily? Great video!

    • @b.b.crafts6363
      @b.b.crafts6363  Před 2 lety +1

      I used 0,6-0,7mm veneer and I boiled the strip first to make it bendable. Different veneers require different boiling times.
      Thank you!

      @@b.b.crafts6363 Thank you, I figured it out and also boiled the veneer too. Soaking the veneer for an hour or more works just as good without having to clean a pot.

    Did you use a sauder pen to make the holes

  • @schmots

    do you use actual frets for the these?

    • @b.b.crafts6363
      @b.b.crafts6363  Před 3 lety +1

      No, I used a silver wire. I thought it would be easier this way!

    • @schmots
      @schmots Před 3 lety +1

      @@b.b.crafts6363 I agree. I was gonna ask how long you spent pre grinding the fret wire to fit :-D
