- In today's vlog we head to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the After Hours Party! This is the first After Hours Party in 3 years and we couldn't be more excited! Was it worth the price? We think so! I think a solo ride on Rise is like getting your own cabin on Hogwarts Express! What a fantastic experience. Cool to see these events are back on. And Tim, your commentary is so funny.

The crazy thing is this night was sold out! It was as "busy" as an After Hours event will be at Studios and Tim could still ride every ride. Seems well worth it to me!
They probably limited the capacity to allow for short wait times. Although I suspect a lot of people left around 10 or 11 and didn't stay until 12:30pm since initial wait times were fairly long.
It seems worth it to me. WISH I LIVED Closer!!!

I think I was spoiled with the unlimited Halloween party pass a couple of years ago. Literally went to at least a dozen Halloween parties. Got pictures with every character. Trick or treated and had candy for a year 😂 So happy we splurged and got those tickets. Was probably the last time they’ll ever do it, but it was the best time ever!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Holy cow yeah! With the profit driven direction disney seems to be taking, it’s extremely unlikely they’ll do something like that again sadly. Sounds amazing though! Happy that universal still has their horror nights pass where you can go anytime you want as many times as you want. But it would be nice to someday get to the Halloween party or the Christmas party.
We had it too and it was AMAZING. I brought sooo much candy into work lol.

I love seeing the cast members a bit less stressed and able to have fun! It certainly does look wonderful and relaxing to be in a not crowded park. I wonder what the price difference is between this and a day ticket? Probably worth it I would imagine, just for the stress free aspect.
For the 18th the ticket is $139, but a park ticket is $144 so it quite literally is a minimal difference for at least the 18th

@@kaspertillae6893 I definitely would as well. I've been to two prior to the pandemic when the pricing wasn't as close, but now it is honestly the better option
Especially if you add in Lightning Lane.
@@allisonkeefe5949 I mean the only downside is not having access to all of the eating areas or attractions, like the shows and such, but I feel like there are many people who aren’t as interested in all of that. The reservations for the restaurants are next to impossible to get anyway.

Time your commentary on Rise of the Resistance was the absolute best. I can't even imagine being the only people on a ride that popular, it's definitely worth the price.

I disagree. Imagine it’s your FIRST-TIME @DisneyWorld and you’ve got some dude narrating and talking through the entire ride… it ruins the experience. I feel sorry for all those people stuck near him during his visit.
Here’s the main problem with after hours events: they take away much-needed maintenance time from the parks. Think about it-if the extended evening event goes til 12AM, the park won’t clear till 1, 1:30AM at the earliest. and with early entry, people are let in to the park as early as 7:00AM or 7:30AM. That leaves effectively 5-6 hours of maintenance and deep cleaning time. It’s not great. Especially not with how cut back the staffing’s been all around but especially third shift crews. It’s really no mystery why the parks look as bad as they do right now.
Tim ridding rise alone was golden.
The low wait times for Rise and Slinky Dog is worth the cost of the ticket alone! I love those rides! Looked like such a good time! 😁

how have I never seen Fin on the ride - Tim was super funny on Rise ride that was the best
ONE MILLION PERCENT WORTH IT! We did after hours at Hollywood Studios and got on every ride multiple times! A 2 hour wait for slinky dog during normal hours isn’t worth it, but riding it 3 times in the space of 25 minutes TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Thank you for posting this video! We are headed there on the 14th and have after hours tickets for the 18th! I think there likely was some spillover from the run disney event and that is why the 4th and 11th are sold out while the 18th remains available. I’m really looking forward to this! Thanks again!
We did the Pixar night at Disneyland the week before they closed down for Covid. It was a lot of fun. I would love to try one at Disney World!!
