Just watched city vs madrid. The gap between real team vs us is massive. One player didnt belong on that field and it was haaland, technically he has nothing to offer which reminds me of us. Most of our players are on haaland level technically, and having spent that much money we should be able to buy the right players.
If this summer we bring in branthwaite or onana then forget about competing. That proves we havent learn from the mistake and just keep buying technically garbage players who couldnt keep the ball.

The criticism KG had for Bruno in this episode is the exact same things certain fans on his channel were trying to get through to him last season. KG is stubborn lol. Bruno has been allowed to get away with a lot 2 straight seasons. There has been no leadership in this football club for too long.

The only way is to buy players not pursued by Real Madrid for example assuming Mbappe is going to Madrid, Leao is more likely to accept a move to United rather than a move to RM considering the competition for his spot...
We just need a smarter talent acquisition strategy...

Murtough was just over promoted. He did a decent job with the academy and women's team & that's where he should have stayed.
On a serious note though... we need premier league proven competition & youngsters to compete in certain areas. Weve lacked competition for places for far tooooo long. Bruno needs competition (Gibbs White - Andreas - Eze - Iwobi - Dewsbury Hall - Enciso - Sarabia)
Rashford & the other wide forwards need competition (Gnonto - Summerville - Mbuemo - Podence - Neto)
And I'm sure Chelsea & City have an abundance of young midfielders / defenders that can be poached. So many teams gave benefitted from there youth players (Lamptey - Guehi - Porro - Luiz - Hall - Livramento to name a few).
We should be scouring and robbing youth players from the best teams in England & signing the best undervalued performers in the premiership instead of looking at Benfica players that are gonna cost 100 mill.
The agent that works with wolves & Fulham should be our go to guy if we want young Portuguese / Brazilian talent instead of going direct to these clubs & getting fleeced.

Mason Mount is a good player. You can't be Chelsea's Player of the Season twice if you're bad. When he was POTY, it was during the season Chelsea won the Champions League where his impact was vital with his goals in the QF & SF and Finals with his Assist ... along with his work rate which stands out. And his 2nd POTY was when he had 29 G/A. They were always in Top 4. His last season wasn't good as he was injured half of the season. He also has a strong mentality and will follow managers instruction well. Tuchel trusted him with the tactics and he was the connector for defense and attack. He just needs to be fully fit. Chelsea overplayed him too much from 2019 to 2022.
Mount is now fit. Play him instead of Bruno

That was too much. Some really bad deals since Fergie left. Some worked for 1 season maybe 2 some didn’t work at all. Di Maria, Pogba, Sanchez, Sancho, Schniedlin and the list goes on and on. I would stick with ETH. I’m glad we got Evan’s cause it made no sense to buy a centre back for stupid money to only be poor and stuck in the wage bill for 5 years. So glad we loaned Amrabat cause he has been terrible!
