The base (the music) have a voice base to... so you can heard Camillas voices at 5:03 to 5:13.
They sing always but yes have a lot of parts they still have their won voice on base to 'help'. And that rigth, it's correct and necessary, but not never lip sync or never use the back ground

At the same music the chorus repeat and Camilas voice is there on the vocalization. But thats the only part.

I applaud the girls on coming out and bringing their all without Camila. Especially considering Lauren was also sick and they all had a short amount of time to rehearse the parts that are normally Camila's. However you can definitely tell there is something missing in every song and its the energy and unique tone that Camila brings to the group. I think they are all so talented and this proves that they sound their best when all five of them are working together and blending their voices.
throughout the whole preformance i love how Dinah looked at Lauren a lot to make sure shes ok. lauren is a fucking warrior sang so much for her voice being shot. you can tell its hurting too.
Lauren slayed the chorus of Going Nowhere.
All of Camila's part were covered really well. You can barely tell that she was missing. But I will say that when Lauren is out you can definitely tell that she is missing.
+Ariana M any member missing creates a mess in the 5H group but I agree camila's parts were easily covered maximum by Lauren although she was having a bad throat that day and the stage chemistry did also not go for a toss but when they performed without Lauren every member lost the chemistry and looked lost on stage.. even in every interview they kept mentioning how they were missing Lauren...it's not that Lauren has more solos in any songs but her low notes are really difficult for few of them to cover, also her chemistry with all the members on and off stage is so real that her stage presence brightens their performance. But again all of them are important..5H is complete only with 5 members.:)
Well, Lauren kinda gave it away at going nowhere and miss moving on, but overall they did a great job

Honestly, I think they should have given Camila's solo to Dinah. Lauren was sick at this time, they shouldn't over work her. Dinah was fine and I'm pretty sure she can do it!
Hayli Martorana yea i love them all... I just figured they shouldn't have risked it... Aly missed the Meat and Greet and Lauren was very sick too but she was trooper! I would have let Lauren and Aly not work too much to give them time to get better not worse. AND Dinah can workkkkk it! :3 She's so underrated I think it would have given her a chance to show people her abilities

Obviously it sucks that camila wasn't there but dinah & lauren both did very considering they had less than 30 mins to prepare without camila. I think dinah should get credit too, not only lauren. I personally think dinah sang her parts in reflection & better together just as well as camila does (if not better in her last verse for better together)

You can tell that Camilas abscence wore on everyone. The crowd was dead both Lauren and Dinahs voices were weaker out of worry and added lines plus preassure. It proves if one leaves the group tumbles down

I like the way they sing here better, but not because Camila is gone. it's because this shows that, yes Camila makes very important runs, but the other girls should have more solos, and that Camila isnt the only person who can slay her solo
Y'all all complain when Camila has so many solos but clearly they need her when they filmed the takeover so they need her obv because her voice can do something that their voices can't
Idc this just shows how many solos she has, that when she was gone and they had to take her solos, they were so overwhelmed by the increase of sols.. im not saying she should leave, they wouldnt sound the same without her. but if she was there and the solos were given to her and everyone equally then there wouldnt have been a problem. not to mention this was their first time performing with someone missing.

Lauren had to sing those extra parts while she was sick, proud of her she did good and so did the other girls. But it's clear that they are at their full potential with all 5h members, even if you all say they sound better, that's not true, yes I agree that the parts should be distributed more evenly so that the other girls can have their moment to shine also.

i forced myself to watch this cause I wanted to see how theyd do without Camila. I seen an interview of this day and they were all freaking out about the dances and who'd take her parts and its surprising, and im so proud of them too cause you can't tell by the performance that they were nervous or breaking down about it. but it's so weird to see those parts where Camila's notes are supposed to be and they decided not to recreate them. they did so well considering how upset they were that day.

They definitely need her whether you like her voice or not. She fills out the emptiness in the group. Although they did a good job, all of the songs sound dull without her voice.

Not really, you're talking about different registers here. Ally has the highest belting range. Normani has the highest whistle range. Dinah is has a really good falsetto range.

Shannen Angcla Yep! :) Normani has one whistle notes in their "Mirrors" cover with Boyce Avenue (F6), Better Together (F6, but she has riffed higher in some live performances), the studio Going Nowhere (D6), their Somebody to You cover with The Vamps (F#6), and their live "Anything is Possible" for Barbie (E6). Ally also can go really high too, F#6 in their "Hero" performance on X Factor, so their whistle ranges are pretty similar, but Normani seems to have stronger control since she's entrusted with it in most of their songs.

Lauren and Dinah harmonizing in Over sounds MAGICAL. It’s kind of strange hearing Normani sing the Me & My Girls chorus without Camila but she sounds so good! Going Nowhere was a little rough sounding. Ally probably should’ve taken the chorus since she didn’t get much else. But they ATE this idc!!!
