Growing succulents in NY both indoors and outdoors. The sun has returned! Haven't seen a thunderstorm for 5 days and so thankful that heatwave is gone. My dear succulents have been through a lot so let's see how they're doing.
9:20 pinwheel revolution. Headchop the biggest one in the middle (tallest one). Or wait until spring. I’m guessing you use grow lights over winter though 🪷🪷🪷
Yes. I’ll probably wait till spring to chop anything. This revolution will definitely need some work. It’s is out of control. 😂Temperatures have fallen really drastically all of a sudden.
4:56 New York? So heading into sleep time for your Echeveria Agavoides crested. p.s I have the same one 🪷 Don’t repot it until spring. Don’t fertilize over winter. It should go back to the beautiful orange color over winter. Only water every 2 months or when the leaves are soft 🪴 We are going into summer here in Australia 🇦🇺
Its better to separate them for more nutrition and better health overall and just in case your running out of pots, repot them in the same container ,before that trim the roots , plant in dry soil thereafter and water after a week or so. In case its summer growing add a bit of liquid seaweed fertilizer with half the dose mentioned say 3ml in a litre of water add the solution to the potting mix. Sorry for so many comments this will be the last for this video. 🤭 Thake care and have fun gardening.
Sounds great. I was thinking about separating it as well. Hmm, never done that before but I think it may be time to try it after all. Like you said, it’s probably better for its overall health.
Thank you once again. Nothing to worry about the separation of the pups or the mother from the cluster ,not only it will prevent compacting of leaves but will allow air flow. When you separate them wait for the stems to callous just Incase of an open wound and then water thereafter. If you have cinnamon powder sprinkle some on the cuts it works great to drive mealey bugs away. This is a great time to display your skills at succulent arrangements when you have the time coz you got the ART IN YOU.🤗🎨
Indeed they are looking fantastic.
Excellent job at maintaining and catering to these beautiful succulents.👍🙏
Plants love music and also commucate with each other.
And if they had rhythm they'd be singing
Soak Up The Sun by Sheryl Crow.😁

Yes. New York. Already dreading the cold temperatures coming my way. I have to move all my succulents inside.
