@@dylanbanning the leaks are usually right and when they are, it’s obvious that they have inside information. Pyoro leaked a new 2D Mario game before it was announced and he even used a special font for the word “wonder” in his tweet.
If they dont call the "switch 2" the Super Nintendo Switch... then its a huge missed oppurtunity

A lot of the new console coming out this year sounds too good to be true. Remember when we all thought the original Switch was coming out in the Holiday 2016 window?
I think we’ll get a Nintendo Direct and a Pokémon Presents in February
But we’ll probably get a New Console announcement in March
I'm super skeptic about that, it's going to be November-December 2024 the earliest when such announcement is wise to be done.
Princess Peach: Showtime! releases in March, so I doubt that a new console will be announced then.

I feel like even though we probably will get Switch 2 this year, I feel like it won’t be until the holidays and the announcement of the system will not be until July-August Time. Seriously we are only over 2 weeks into the new year and everyone is expecting the Switch 2 to be announced tomorrow. Be Patient!

We still haven't gotten an Official Nintendo Reveal yet heck we still know the rest of Nintendos 2024 schedule so honestly we r definitely getting a February Nintendo Direct due to patterns my theory is Switch 2 will be revealed this year but release next year 2025.
With the rumor/leaks claiming that the console is backwards compatible with OG Switch, I wonder if they'll do the same bit as Xbox Series and PS5 where you can not only play a game from the previous console but you also get a graphical update to it on the new hardware, this could especially be beneficial to ports of third party games that maybe weren't so good on the switch but would look definitely better on the PS4-level specs of the Switch 2.

I like how this guy uploaded like 1,000,000 videos on a “Switch 2” when Nintendo hasn’t said anything about a new console.
I don’t know it feels strange for them to drop a new console right after major entries in both Zelda and Mario, but it definitely is more than time for a new console. Makes me curious what they would use as launch titles to draw in support from day 1. Part of what made the switch’s first year so massive was a groundbreaking Zelda and Mario experience in the console’s first year. Very curious to see how this transpires.

Nintendo president has already stated that for the rest of this fiscal year they have no plans to announce an new technology! End of April being the earliest! But also they have stated countless times they will be focusing on the switch and they have games running into 2025, and want to have the switch lifespan be up to 10 years! At the earliest we'll get an announcement in 2025
I'm on the 2025 ship as well. People speculate too much even after Furukawa himself stated that rumors are innacurate. Then they will get mad and disappointed for not meeting their hopes. 😂

There has been talk about the Zelda two pack for several years, with every Nintendo Direct this is it! I can't count all the times i have heard that we are soon getting a release.. If it will happen, then Nintendo will probably release it with the next console to increase to overall sales. Switch has more or less reached the top of how many machines they can push out the door, so it's logical that all the major releases after Princess Peach Showtime will be heading for Nintendo's next console!
Paper Mario Thousand Year Door remake and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD still have an unknown 2024 release date, I highly doubt Nintendo will scrap those games going to the switch and make them go to the new console instead. I honestly think that the Thousand Year Door remake will be the last Mario/Big Release game for the switch before the new console launches.

I believe this is the same scenario to 2023, the switch maybe slowing down but there is still new games compared to the last years of the DS, Wii, Wii U or 3DS, which is just nothing but remaster. There is some that have relatively high budget like peach’s showtime or the DK remake. They are just not Mario and anything not Mario people don’t care.

Well it could also be jan 24 remember we did have one for the wii when it came out.
What I want for switch 2 is bigger buttons and bigger controllers that don't have drift and better anolog sticks + connected arrow buttons. I also just want it to load quicker, high resolusion and a bit better lighting and colors. For launch titles, I would want a new 3d mario, maybe oddyssy 2 too. Windwaker+ twighlight princess hd combo game, and maybe ocarina remake but I dougt it, but I can dream. Metroid prime 4 and Prime 2+3 combo remaster game. Also I would freak out if they had another 2d zelda since it's been like 10 years since the last one. also another smash bros game and a mario kart that maybe they could keep anti gravity, but adding teleporters to different parts of the map or "sub areas" that could give an advantage. I'd also like some gamecube games put on nintendo online.
