I’m in an alternate dimension right now. No way Collin has sleeves but Bo doesn’t
What a bit
What a bit
It has taken me a year and several watches before I noticed this😂
Jay Petagine is a hardcore historian and philosopher
This is the Master Killer of Hardlore so far....
it’s not close. i wish Jay was the third host haha
"That's the sound of your sons soul" 🤣what a quote
Can you believe Jay's accent? Top three HL episode based on that alone
Far and away the best episode of Hardlore. Jay is such an excellent speaker, definitely going to need a part two on this one, boys!!
Can you believe a 2 and a half hour hardlore? Truly a blessed day
This is my fave episode, just listening to Jay talk about anything is amazing
Jay has based taste in films by Italian Directors based on the poster behind him. La Dolce Vita (1960) is a masterpiece. Gotta love a good Fellini film.
I love hearing this dude talk about moshing. So dope
AND the Roc Marciano mention??? shout out Jay
2 minutes in... shoutout to my fellow teachers in the hardcore scene ✊🏼
I’m binging several episodes almost daily. I obviously started w/ dudes/bands I know, and now I’m just ripping through everything that’s new to me. Haven’t hit a skippable ep yet. I love the Colin & Bo Show.
Jay’s paranormal story is a top 10 HL moment for me. Love this dude. Great episode!
Need the name of that Netflix doc
@@bannedinhillvalley I looked around Netflix but didn’t see anything. But did find this and it’s very much about the hat man thing. Yikers.

@@bannedinhillvalley The Nightmare.
I started listening to this before I started work, during breaks and finished it after work. Thank you guys for making the day a little better. Jay is the man
The sleep deprivation documentary that Jay is referring to is called ‘The Nightmare’ for all of those that are interested.
These long(er) episodes are really working for you guys. So cool seeing you two hitting your stride during these talks with guests. Becoming more and more like shooting the shit with the boys.
When Jay said that he played "a little guitar" he said it in a way where my stupid brain thought, "oh, he plays a comically small guitar" and that brought me joy. Another good episode, boys.
Elevate breakdowns in Mindforce songs. Now that’s the kind of hardlore I need. “Mindlore: Stories from Jay!” Max respect to him and the rest of MF. Got to shake his hand and grab a pic with him at Chain back in 2021. I mention this way too often, but him and Pat are part of the reason why I decided to go back to school and earn a teaching credential (also middle school and high school History-Social Science). Shit keeps me going, so thanks, Master Jay. 🙏🏻 And thank you, Colin and Bo for these interviews and documenting all this good stuff.
Hardcore and Hardlore on top, baby! ☝🏻 Big ups HVHC! 🍕
Jay equating Hatebreed to Neopolitan pizza is incredibly on point.
i wish jay was my history teacher
Jay such a nice guy, could listen to him talk forever.
dipset flamethrower story is awesome.
It's break time... ITS ALSO HARDLORE TIME BABY
Jay talking through a jack in the box headset is goated fr

This is seriously top 3 episode for you guys (James and Justice are my other topsters.) Triple J unintended
This has been the best “hardlore” packed episode. Love it
I have been an active member of the hardcore scene where i am from. I was a history teacher and my degrees are in history lol. now i work at a museum.......teaching kids when they come through the collections

One of the best episodes, Jay is the perfect guest.
Jay I’ve been following this dude since winter 2000 when’s dreams die hvhc my dude spitting pure facts ❤
Unreal episode. Jay's the GOAT
Not all that familiar with Mindforce, but enjoyed this episode so much.
'tower of snakes' by 18v is mosh four and it's arguably the hardest of all time 🤷♀️
I can’t tell how many times I’ve heard this growing up since high school. I’m 34 now. Fuck.
This is just an all timer. Fantastic.
HUDSON VALLEY on the map, thanks Jay
Legendary episode
This was incredible.
I'm gonna keep dropping this in comments. The Deadbody album was criminally overlooked.
A lot of good’n plenty people behind these jams we listen to.. thanks guys.. I’m Lovin’ it
Cool coo
I've watched this full through 4 times since it's come out. Jay might be the cleanest soul in HC, maybe life.
Dissolve - Dismantle and Caveman of the Future are two certified classics.
Killer episode.
GREAT EP
Best episode!
Well, this has been thoroughly enjoyable.
I love that popstar comes up every podcast haha 10/10
Very likely the all time best episode of Hardlore.
Been looking forward to this one
Jay just put me on to inner dam i would like to personally thank him this is exactly what I was looking for
Madsen was in the Every Time I Die "Kill the Music" video.
Ahhhh im so excited to be coming to ldb fest this year 😀😀😀
“We don’t stop, take the dude out the pit and - yo… it was FUBU MAN?! THEY GOT FUBU?!?… rip, this one’s for him…”. Funniest shit
Do you have the link?
Also. The Deadbody album has the best metal album art since the Death Metal golden era.
MORE KICKBAWXIN
THIS NEXT SONG IS CALLED EXCALIBUR! DECAPITATE SOMEONE WITH MORE KICKBAWXIN!
It’s like I got 3 dads rn even down to none of y’all ever saying you’re proud of me
I’m so proud of you son
Best episode
Holy snap bo. Right before you asked the magical stop question I thought to myself they didnt ask the fast food stop question lol
2 1/2 hours. God bless boys.
Pillars of Ivory is in top 10 greatest albums of all time🙏🏾
don't know how when they've never even released an album 🤣
Popstar is one of the best comedies ever
SOIA is a band I love, but don't often listen to them. Then, I'll see them live and they're one of the best bands ever and immediately regret not listening to them more.
This is the best episode yet so far. 2.5 hours and it didn't even feel like it.
“I saw The Hat Man” 😭😭😭 I am crying
One of my favorite episodes yet 🎉
Best episode in the history of podcasts
I Just Want to See a Corpse is my grindcore band
Need a pizza tour with jay episode!
Sadly the duchess in wallingford CT just recently closed...I work 10 seconds away from it.
LETS GO
Saw the make up show last night since Vitus got shut. Thx for coming down to BK. Tore the Meadows up
Prayer for Cleansing invented mosh 3
harvester of sorrow was my first chug moment
Controversial comment that Colin actually looks good in a sleeve kept tee
We need a full hardlore podcast on hatman encounters
We need the Hardlore Guide to Cutting Sleeves ‘cause for whatever reason, I keep BUTCHERING sick band tees when I do it
I remember inner dam great band was good to see them once I recall them talking about eye2eye
Agreed that Dissolve were the kings of their subgenre.
Big big mindforce guy, now god damn it
Hard core loves teaching😂
All the NYC, NY pizza, 518 and Hudson Valley references is making me happy as fuck
Jay talking about CT pizza - road warrior pop fr
Elevate was good shit, had no idea he was in the band. I had their demo tape at one point. Thankfully it’s on YT.. ‘Once Inside Love Is Lost’ check it out
I heard Bo does nasty things with fish at Whole Foods. Is this true? WE NEED TO KNOW
🔥🔥🔥🔥
HARDLORE!
damn, the death of FUBU man.
had to fact check the all out war condemned to suffer going mosh 3. confirmed hardlore fact.
Does anyone know where the video of Joe knocking Bo down and then pickin him up during the Killer??
Pizza and mosh talk, baby. Love that shit.
Can confirm. Boston is the home of hc spin kicks.
Scorsese has made a sequel! The Color of Money is a sequel to The Hustler, though The Hustler is by a different director.
HARDLOOOORRRRRREEE
I thought Jay's favorite sword would be Excalibur!?
SAY GOOD-BYE TO YOUR DREAMS......BOOM🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥
Dissolve - Wire is a tough ass song. Wish it was on Spotify.
Me and my buddy in 3rd grade found Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle on tape on the side of the road and used to keep it in my basement and we'd go down and secrety listen to it. This must have been like 1996/97 we were like 9 years old. 🤣💀
Into another shows were crazy in the early days.
