Grand Reopening [FNAF/VHS]

- Recorded 11/07/2000:
Grand Reopening! A fresh start to forget everything you might have heard about the old location.. or so I thought. First night on the job and our security guard just vanishes into thin air? I remember something similar happening at the old location before it was shut down, but this was meant to be different, it was meant to feel like the old days again. We even redesigned the animatronics, but I can't help but feel that we may have brought something with us. Something more than just bad luck. I'll start an investigation into the matter of the missing guard immediately and inform her family. - (đ đŽđłđ°đČđ đŽđł Nov. 07. 2000).

Call me weird but one of my favorite things about the FNaF VHS genre is seeing Freddy's as if it was a real place. The Chuck E. Cheese inspiration is so clear in the design of the building in this video, from the entry doors to the carpet design to the walls and obviously the general layout, and I just really enjoy seeing stuff like this as it feels immersive and it's fun to imagine Freddy's being a real place
I agree. Fnaf locations usually arenât realistic in their layout or their general design. This map really feels like I could bring my family to this place and wonât be creeped out by the grey red lined checkers wall (if I had one)
you should really check out battington's channel then, it has some of the most realistic FNaF designs
Entirely true, Iâve always hated how most fnaf media really makes the pizzeria seem unrealistic to the average consumer. I got really excited when I saw the fnaf movie pizzeria interior due to how it would seem like something a small pizzeria joint would look like.
I agree I also love how realistic the vhs recording is it looks like someone was actually there recording the whole place
@@fabulousspamulous me to looks like your average pizza place
This makes it even worse that the fact that she stopped screaming when the mask made contact with her isn't because she died, but rather her vocal chords were shredded. Bone isn't something a saw can cut through quickly. She most likely lasted at least 30 seconds before she perished from blood loss or the brain being reached after a long while.

The protagonist in this was actually likeable, she felt so true and human. Her âuhmâs and stutters along with the âtsk tsk tskâ she gave while thinking made her feel so genuine. Her fear, breathing, and quick thinking just all felt so real, for once I actually felt bad for a VHS protagonist.

@@nosferatu6385 Truly, itâs so lifelike. Acting until youâre perfect is stupid since mistakes happen constantly.

Not alone on that one
I feel WAY TOO BAD for her...
same! This was actually difficult to watch, her distress sounded so real
Imagine how painful that was for her. Think about this. You got a new job to work the night shift at a pizza place for children. A few minutes later, you see one of the animatronics craw out of the vent. She starts to chase you and you forgot your keys in the office. You run into the closet roomâŠfull of old animatronics. You think they arenât working. Then you see a faceless one behind you. Everything goes black. You wake up in a chair that has you chained down. Then you see what looks like a Freddy mask covered in saws coming right to your face. Screaming for help, but no one comes. Then you feel the horrible pain of it sawing in your face. Then youâre stuffed in an animatronic outfit.
Truly horrific, right?
Iâve always wondered why no one ever put their head down so that the mask misses their face.. but whatever
@@myvividmemoriesnow you see thatâs the other thing because if you do that then there is a chance that it will be sawing off your HEAD
You mean't the Parts & Service right?
It is a safer approach since if it saws in your face the frontal lobe is damaged if it hits the top its might only hight the optical lobe which impacts your eyesight@@chuymurillo4177
Wait, i know what u mean, so this is from the movie fnaf. we're a male security guard runs away from Foxy and then wakes up stuck in the chair, and then a freddy mask with saws inside of comes towards his face now I seen this in the movie.
Jesus the actress was phenomanal. The sobbing and screams were just... So damn real. I felt my heart drop when she started to panic. It really felt like I was in her shoes.

To be honest I love how much cleaner the fnaf 2 location looks in many of the shorts design wise. Much more streamlined and fancy compared to what we see in the game. Also⊠the office desk being on the SIDE floor f the office rather than facing forwards is somehow even MORE terrifying!

Dude I got two minutes in and was already blown away by how the pizzeria is modeled. You must have followed an actual floor plan or something because not only does it look realistic from a texturing standpoint, but the way everything is laid out from the walls to the cutouts to the seats feels so much like a REAL pizzeria. Its like it was pulled straight out of my memories, absolutely PHENOMENAL job.
I wish it was easier to find photos of Showbiz Pizza and CEC locations from the 80s. FNAF has made me unironically fascinated by their layouts.

TBF, the toy animatronics are honestly more terrifying than the old ones because the toy animatronics look so happy as if that was their facade while they hide their true self to hurt the night guards unlike the original who show other emotions.
And with the always happy and joyful look to them, its like they know what they're doing to their victims and enjoying it.
A lady security guard is something that I havenât seen before in these vhs tapes, and was actually wondering when they were going to do something like this, and it happened. I loved this vhs tape, the voice acting, the actual horror, and the liminal space looking pizzeria. Everything about this was great.

this was bloodcurdling. along with the VAâs very realistic sounding reactions, screams, and narrating. wonderful interpretation of the torture device too. one of my favorite vhsâs in this fandom so far!!!
The fact you can see the blood splatter when the night guard has the mask put on her is such a small yet amazing detail that would very often be skipped. Best VHS i have seen in a LONG time.
7:42 legit the most disturbing background audio ever you can just hear her screaming at the top of her lungs inside the suit

â@@dicksoncider7088 no on 8:41 she dies
Something cool about the torture device is that it goes faster so that the victim doesnât have enough time to escape. Really cool detail!
Also here it's used for assembling animatronic shells onto endskeletons, hence why it doesn't have that slow-dramatic effect đ
Guessin the animatronics learned last time when Mike escaped from the torture device lol
@@Valox Makes the spinning blades/razors a bit weird though, just from a logical point of viewđ
(Then again, logic in FNAF lol)
@@peterdaviesracing It's just animatronic devices that phone guy says won't be too comfortable to have your head shoved into
@@Valox Is the way how they kill the security guard in this video actually cannon? like the torcher device thing? i know the stuffing in suits is.
Itâs not often that I feel sick to my stomach or genuinely feel bad for the victims in these videos. Yeah, you can make a fnaf vhs tape where the person recording dies a gruesome death, but if you can make me care about the character that meets said fate then you know youâve done an amazing job capturing the fear and hopelessness of the situation. Itâs amazing how much a good voice actor can really bring something like this to the next level.
She won't be with them in that pizzeria her soul rests...;-;..
is your pro file picture J because you yourself was aborted?
Also actually SEEING the mask do its work was awful. I cried, just how horrific this franchise is. Might be the first time Iâll ever realize that. I donât think Iâll watch these vhs kind of videos again, itâs just too traumatizing to be honest. And thatâs how you know youâve done good work.

7:42 never before has a fnaf vhs tape ending had me so creeped out and given me chills, the disturbing black and white image (i watch a lot of black and white cartoons so you know this stuff is disturbing) combined with the seemingly happy song, the screams of a girl (I think this is the security guard) and the text at the bottom talking about what i think is how the security guard failed to possess the freddy suit, great work Valox, youâve succeeded once again in making an amazing fnaf vhs tape, also great work to the voice actress of the nightguard, I havenât seen a vhs protagonist with such genuine emotion since the mangle vhs tape
Bro, the voice actor of the security guard is genuinely one of the best voice acting Iâve seen in a Fnaf VHS video. Just like that Mangle one, this one actually makes the protagonist feel genuinely terrified
Oh my god. This voice actor did fucking fantastic. I hope we get more of her work. Her pronunciation even during the part of the script she has to convey heavy emotion, was phenomenal. Everything was clear and properly said which is something a lot of VAâs forget. We love hearing you guys scream and terrifiedâŠbut please pronounce everything so immersion isnât broken.đ Nonetheless. This point of view is such a good one because it shows an actual life. She came in for work, we saw the establishment as if it were a normal average one and I love that! Also the acting was IMPECCABLE!
Jesus, seeing if only for a second the masses of blood somebody would lose once the saw blades struck the face, is horrific. And Afton just blames Everly with no remorse. This is what FNAF is, man. Really sells the hidden horrors of Freddy's...
You would probably die of shock so it wouldnât last very long.
â@@eligreg99 But there's a possibility that her brain was still barely conscious while being slowly crushed inside the suit and that thought horrifies me. The human body can go through a lot before it finally dies.
@@user-je5nu6sg1g This contraption isnât a suit. The only thing itâs doing is ripping her face and skull apart so the rest of her body would be unharmed. Considered it directly attacks the frontal lobe Iâm not sure how long someone would be conscious with their head in what is essentially a meat grinder. Some of the most realistic reactions to this kind of stuff that Iâve seen from VHS. The screaming, blubbering, and crying all make perfect sense. Anyone would be doing that.
That briefly uncontrollable nervous laugh when she walked into the back room was amazing characterization.
This has a very unique atmosphere that most other VHS' don't give me, nice work! Also that security guard seemed so nice, I feel bad!
The fact that this place looks fairly normal is a nice change of pace.
And you somehow manages to make the Movie saw-blade mask scary.
For me, itâs not the images that are shown following her death, or the scene where sheâs strapped to the chair with the Freddy head, itâs the way the tape describes how she dies that really got to me. I mean, think about, wiring and circuitry were driven into her body, metal clamps and pins were found in her bones. Itâs horrible, but thatâs why it makes this tape so good. Excellent job!
I wonder if she was still alive while being crushed inside the suit. That would be a horrible way to die. Slowly and painfully and the only thing u would be able to do is cry and wish for it to end
