Aircraft Landing Technique

Technique for landing a Van's RV-4 airplane. Some nice New Mexico mountain scenery to kick things off!
Note that the GoPro "speedometer" is displaying miles per hour (MPH) in the video but I am using knots indicated airspeed (KTS IAS) in the audio. Apologies for the confusion, maybe GoPro will add knots as an option (hint - hint!!). 😉
Conditions:
Airfield elevation: 4,852' MSL
Density Altitude: 4,000'
Weight: 1350 lbs
Wind: Light and Variable

Hi Rodney! I use a utility from GoPro called Quik - it is a free download. It allows you to add that instrumentation from the GPS info that is embedded in the video. Which means you must have a GoPro that has a GPS and have it enabled.

The opening was filmed over southwest New Mexico west of Truth or Consequences. The airport scenes are at the Truth or Consequences airport (TCS).
