Whether the rest of the world likes US sports or not...... A lot of the best talent gets split in a lot of different ways. It's not a top sport. It's not criticized and talked about everywhere. Culture makes a big difference..... US got American football from English rugby. They wanted they're own sport instead of futbol like everyone else. American football, basketball, and baseball became an American thing as well. Cor futbol....The low scoring, diving, time wasting, and low scores made it unpopular. You can't waste time in baseball, football, and not as much in basketball. You're rewarded for staying on your feet and fighting...not who can act like they got hurt and waste time.... I like futbol, but wish that wasn't such a big part of it. It's gaining popularity though. Hopefully they'll be able to be a solid team soon. With due respect.... Trying three at the back in possession with almost no fullback cover with Zimmerman and Long out there was the issue I think. Not enough athleticism. If Robinson is healthy and replaces Long I think it looks better. When CCV came on it looked better as well. Long isn't as good as Zimmerman and he doesn't have enough athleticism to add to this formation. Hopefully we see EPB or CCV start next to Zimmerman next time out.

We won against Morocco and that's great but don't start thinking this team is all that. I'm 100% sure if we played away we would've lost because without the fans we are nothing seeing that we lost almost every away game in the qualifying stage or getting lucky enough to draw. I hope the usmnt goes far but as we seen in the past we get cocky and for some reason we win one or two games against an ok or very good team and we think we own them. I hope the U.S gets very far in the world cup and prove the people who doubted the U.S in the beginning. All I'm asking is for this team not to get too comfortable with the dubs and know that we aren't invincible and even if it's a team we think we can easily beat still think about the possibilities. For example, in the past we lost 2-1 against Trinidad and Tobago and didn't make it to the 2018 world cup. One more thing pulisic seems a little too confident and that isn't a bad thing but he just needs to know that losing is a normal thing and that not everything works out the way you want them to be.
