YES!!!! Sean and Neko are two of the most passionate and humble dudes I've met in the mtb world Windrock is one of my hands down favorite not just bike parks, but places to ride! A bike Park by mountain bikers for mountain bikers says it all. They do things right on this mountain; whether you are looking for gnar, steeps, tech, or fast flowy jumps, Windrock is a must ride for all.

I road a mountain bike for the first time just over a year ago, via a charity that is about getting veterans on mountain bikes. Windrock was apparently my trial by fire and I absolutely fell in love with it. I happened to meet Neko and Sean that day as well, and they were so very humble and excited to see someone getting into it. They even took the time to guide me down Talladega on my first run. Passionate is what those dudes are.
Honestly, everyone in the mtb community I have met so far has been nothing but amazing. They always seem excited to have a new person on the trails and have always taken the time to explain things, or give helpful feedback in a positive way.

Absolutely an awesome track. A track that scares you, but you come up so pumped and happy after the ride.

What a great video!! Windrock is hands down the HARDEST place I've ridden... And I LOVE it! I agree... The guys running this Park are the BEST! Neko helped me get out (via side-by-side) my last trip there (9/21/18)...I broke my collar bone (again) on lower windmill. As soon as I am healed up I cannot WAIT to get back there!

I remember riding at windrock in like 2010 when someone told me there were some trails out there. The bike trails were absolutely unridable. Just moved back to the area and man this place is awesome now. I'll probably go again this weekend.

So pumped on you guys!!! I come from a Moto/Woods racing back ground. My brother got paralyzed back In 09 so I kinda stepped back from the race scene. I bought a downhill bike and it’s no where near what you guys are riding. I actullly like about 30-45 mins from The rock, if you guys ever need any extra hands on the mtn let me know. I’m down to help out with anything, that was one of the best parts of riding was digging and building new trails with the boys! Stoked on what you you fellas are doing up there!

Ah ya! I have not ridden everything at Windrock not even close but it was made for US! Neko and Sean are great at everything they do. Riding, building, promoting you name it. It's heart and soul man. It is a riders paradise and so intimidating. I would say it is one of only a few places where a full face and body armor are required if you really want to risk riding above you're skill in a attempt to gain valuable extra skill and on the spot training through trial/error. Believe me the errors hurt and you WILL make them no matter how good you are but the lessons you learn from those errors are invaluable. You take what you learn home with you and you are a better rider when you get back home. I live in GA and the places to ride downhill are very limited. We have Big Creek downhill in Roswell where Max Morgan grew up and trained but the city is always trying to come up with schemes to tear it down. First it was soccer fields then the latest was a 100 acre tennis facility!! They hate MTBs in Roswell a least the city does so it is always under attack. I ride there a lot and when I get the chance I drive to Windrock which is 3 hours away because I don't have anywhere else to do my type of riding. They recently opened Carters Lake downhill back up and I broke my left clavicle there 5 weeks ago. So I dropped out of the race due to injury but my biggest regret was I was scheduled to race Windrock September 30th 2018. I sent a email to the race page asking for a refund and drop my registration. I got a PERSONAL email from Neko Mullally saying he was, sorry about my injury and said he would refund my entrance fees. He was so encouraging telling me to just heal and get well that he would see,me next season. What a message from a man I have never met! I felt so bad because I had it plated with a steel plate and 10 screws. I did physical therapy 3 days a week and after 4 weeks I started riding on the road and realized my clavicle had no pain along with rapid healing of the bone. Week 5 I've started doing downhill again at half speed and squashing my jumps along with leaving my suspension open to absorb impacts to lesson impact on clavicle. So I got to putting down some fast times again wearin ALL my body armor which I wasn't when I broke my clavicle. I began looking at the calendar and realized that by open practice for Windrock I would have 9 weeks of healing which the surgeon said 6-8 weeks for healing and being released to go back to work. I'm a fireman and can't wear a air pack until clavicle heals. So I changed my mind and emailed Neko and asked him to keep my registration that I was going to continue to heal and train hopefully being ready by September 30th. The same day I got ANOTHER email from Neko telling me that is great I'm healing and keep up the good work. He said he is especially looking forward to meeting me because I'm 46 yo and still in great shape able to do this type of racing. In all fairness I've been a fitness nut since I was a kid and only look 30 yo. So just a little story to show how genuine these guys really are and how personal they take this sport. So get up there as soon as you can, it will be one of the best rides of you're lives. Keep riding boys!!

I've been there quite a few times, but, I ride dirt bike and quads. Y'all ride mountain bikes, which is cool..
Just a thought; would it make more sense to have the front tire diameter a bit larger than the rear to give better downward performance in a stance that attacks obstacles at a lesser angle? Let's say the front is 34 inches and the rear is 22....you're still going down, but, the attack is from a better position, as the front pops over, and the rear follows. Meh, just a thought.
