In my family we pour liquor over their casket too. We pour their favorite one on the casket it’s like letting them enjoy on of their favorite drinks before they go in the grave. In every anniversary of their death we also pour on their grave. It really just depends on the family it’s not necessarily about being disrespectful.

We celebrated for him because so many people loved him and came to see him one last time. And we cry because it hurt that he wasn’t present. Ive been to two or three funerals in Guanajuato México where in one was closed because they only had parts of the guy. Friends and family were drinking crying leaving bottles and gifts but you did not see a soul laughing and dancing around a mans body, im sure the people that killed him were definitely celebrating. We celebrated for him because so many people loved him and came to see him one last time. And we cry because it hurt that he wasn’t present. All his homies where there smoking and rolling cuz he would always say rolled one ☝️.

Ive been to two or three funerals in Guanajuato México where in one was closed because they only had parts of the guy. Friends and family were drinking crying leaving bottles and gifts but you did not see a soul laughing and dancing around a mans body, im sure the people that killed him were definitely celebrating.
