- The tenth chapter of the Japanese version of Kid Icarus: Uprising (新・光神話 パルテナの鏡）
This is mainly for those who are curious about what the Japanese version sounds like.
I apologize for the the crappy playing. The asterisks refer to the translation notes below.
Translation Notes:
* The Japanese name for this creature is フェニックス (Fenikkusu), which is the Japanese name for the legendary Phoenix (although when said in Japanese it sounds more like "Fenix")
** Palutena is suggesting that this area might not be a cave (洞窟 / doukutsu), but instead a cavern (空洞 / kuudou). In English, these words are synonyms, but in Japanese there is a slight difference between the two types of caves signified by the words used here. The first being a smaller, more enclosed cave and the second being a larger more hollow area with more openings (or at least more air - signified by the 空)
*** The sound I have transcribed here is ふふっ / huhu, the Japanese sound effect for laughter.
**** The name of this enemy is Rajibon (ラジボン), but the "-tachi" added afterward makes it plural so I used "Rajibons" (following the plural convention in English). The added 's' is for plural and shouldn't be taken as part of the enemy name.
***** This enemy's name (パクンチ / Pakunchi) is likely derived from the Japanese sound effect for eating which is パク / Paku.

Pit's voice in Japanese is cool, sounds a lot like Shinji Ikari from Evangelion. Suits him good. Still, Antony DelRio's voice is awesome, and waaay better. I think his "pitch" makes him sound cuter.
Palutena's voice is very close to the US release.
Hades' voice is a bit too "comical", I think I got used to the effeminate, flamboyant style of Scott Bullock's voice.
You have done an excellent job of translating some of the chapters in the Japanese version. I am wondering if I can use a little bit of this footage in a video I am making and credit you in the description. it would be much appreciated.
Yeah, I never did finish these because of the way keeping the system flat on the table and hunching over it looking around the camera while playing was killing my neck. Meant to finish with a capture card, but never did get one. But yes, feel free to use it however you like.

if you don't destroy the wish seed after defeating the phoenix pit will say "Run away!" as a Magmoo and Skutler Mage attack the seed and blows up killing the two
