◆What is the HUNTER×HUNTER anime?
Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) since 1998, HUNTER×HUNTER is an epic adventure story by Yoshihiro Togashi. Gon, the protagonist, who takes the hunter’s exam to become a hunter like his father and be able to meet his father, continues to challenge the “unknown” world with his friends, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika and others he has met in an ongoing emotional journey.
The TV animation HUNTER×HUNTER, based on the manga of the same name, was broadcast from October 2011 to September 2014 on Nippon Television and other networks, and is still supported by many fans as a work that portrays the new “Hunter World” while maintaining the passionate story from the original manga.
The comic series has sold more than 84 million copies (including digital editions)

I think the game needs a little more impact on the heavy hits, some camera shaking and it would feel a lot more polished and pleasant to look at.
I hope they do NOT add the camera shake! I get motion sickness very easily and this shaking fetish all over the place in the modern era has ruined all entertainment options for me unfortunately. At least it should have the option to turn this thing off.
@@Faelitucamera shake is almost necessary in a tag team fighter. Look at infinite. It’s worse without.

Remember they are working on a low budget, I personally think they are doing a good work with what they have.

What are you talking about? They've had moving mouths since the first trailers. It's just only there for some of the animations, just like in this one.
There seem to be fewer instances of blank faces in this one though, so hopefully, they're still working on it.
It's very likely they'll be moving.
There are many games that did not show lip animation when making the trailer because this part have to be done after the voice recording, which have to be done after the writing. So, it's at the very end of production.

Please, dear god, keep a closer camera and give these hits some fitting sound effects and visuals. It feels so insubstantial.
I love the way it is. Camera shaking all over the place and unnecessary zoom just ruins for me and i'm sure i'm not alone on these. If you want those, go play some MvC3 or DBFZ and leave this just the way it is.

@@mamba7160 I don't really like mortal kombat, i always thought it was too stiff. I don't enjoy fightersz gameplay as it feels too frantic, but after seeing gameplay of hxh i might like this one.

Why are you making a character that was known to be a powerhouse feel like he's hitting you with a piece of paper. There is such a lack of impact and weight to the hits and that's all this character is known for yet it feels so neutered

Oof. This is looking SO rough. Just read this battle for the first time and I hate to say this isn’t doing Uvo justice. Such little impact for a game with the word “Impact” in its title.
I truly hope this game does well and they can get some real budget to do some big updates. HxH deserves so much better even though I’m sure the devs are doing the best with what they’ve got.

I thought the people were not being serius with the complains about the game but omg
The complains are not about the graphics but the animations. In the anime scene that effin move looks totally amazing, even the team mates of Uvogin start running away because they knew what's comming.
I know that the game at least is going to be fun to play and i'm very excited about it but...
Why we don't have polished animations or camera angles tricks to get closer to that?
Low budget unfortunately
although i’m definitely excited for the game, it just doesn’t have that same “punch” that other fighting games have when it comes to the animations. I get it, still probably in early development, but like you can’t have a big bang impact punch that has zero impact. And all of the super animations are at the very most, lackluster. Hope this game gets more love from the devs and animators behind it, i love hunterxhunter

tbh a bit disappointed. uvogin's big bang impact has very little oomph to it. 2011 mvc3 spencer's bionic arm is significantly more impactful.

If you use the word "drip", the answer is pretty clear. This series is older than you are and has very basic 90s designs. They can't just overhaul existing characters.
@@sarkaztik3228The problem with that logic is that almost all the characters revealed so far have canonically been seen in at least 2 or more outfits at some point that they could’ve used and I’m sure many would consider “drip”. Especially Killua.
Of course, they always go for “more iconic looks” and some characters it just wouldn’t make sense for, lol.
I agree, though. I wish they had Gon and Killua’s 1P outfits instead of the tanktops again…
I would say that the simple style is more for comfort while fighting over just being old.
"Big Bang Impact" is such an iconic move and makes you realize how powerful nen users are. It's literally just a generic street fighter strong fist move. It has absolutely zero impact wtf.
That's such a disappointment when you compare this to any Arcsys game ..
The game feels so half-baked ... We've been waiting for years for an HxH fighting game and it feels like a fanmade FG from 2010.

If this does well, could be the start of a new franchise with sequels that *do* look good. Hopefully they time Its release with the release of volume 38.
I’m really hoping this game has an English dub option. It be a dream come true either way I’m probably still gonna buy it.
With how small the budget is, I highly doubt it, though I’d like that too.
There’s also the fact that rarely anything outside of Naruto, My Hero Academia and Dragon Ball get English Dubs for fighting games.
I’m sure modders will try to get a dub going…
