- I recently had a very pleasant lunch with veteran broadcaster & DJ Diddy David Hamilton at The Bat & Ball pub and Restaurant in Wisborough Green down Sussex way and afterwards we filmed this Question and Answer session from members of his facebook group Dacvid Hamilton's Hotshots
I love boom radio fantastic channel, listen to David evey day. Hes a classy guy who I've always liked.
Hello Noel..ive only just discovered your channel but looking at your list of videos they look very interesting like yourself i have been in love with the history of the turf since my teenage years after my dad took my brother and i racing often as youngsters back in the seventies ..your chat with david here was good to watch ..i met him after a show only a few years ago in chesterfield he was lovely to chat to .. finally i have a question for you which is : if you could choose 4 guest's to enjoy an evening with in your favourite watering hole who would they be ?(from the world of horse racing past or present )..kind regards mark
Good to hear from you Mark. Good question I guess for entertainment Sir Mark, John Francome, Jim Old and Alistair Down..
Hello Noel..thanks for getting back ..I see what you mean about entertainment and that is a great line up for a night in your local ..one character I would have liked to have met on a racecourse or anywhere was prince monolulu ..over the years I've met many of my favourites at the races ..Henry Cecil I met 3 times to talk to between 1979 and 2009 he was such a gentleman to racegoers ..I think the best thing to happen in recent times is seeing many young female jockeys doing so well..Hayley turner has been such a credit to racing and herself I used to see her often when I went racing regular and she was always the same lovely personality ..I shall catch up on your videos ..meantime all the best .mark.
