- During a session in Spanish parliament on Wednesday, Podemos party leader, Ione Belarra, said that Israel is “crossing all red lines” and that it is “competing with Nazism” for the “top position in the horror of humanity”.
She further urged Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to recognise a Palestinian state, to end arms sales to Israel, to suspend diplomatic relations, and to support South Africa in the International Court of Justice against Israel.

@UMMeshmesh1982 300k Israeli soldiers amassed on the border at the start of the war, 6m ago. If we assume 90pc of them went off on a picnic and only 10pc entered, that leaves 30k. If we assume every death in Gaza for the duration of the war was a result of small arms fire, rather than bombs dropped on terrorists (with collateral damage), those 30k Israeli soldiers would have to each have killed about 1 person in 6 months to roughly match the death toll. Meanwhile, 15 yo Ethan Crumbley killed 4 people with a handgun in the USA recently within less than an hour. Just a handgun, no assault rifle, no military training. It is objectively absurd and dishonest to suggest that the Israelis are engaged in genocide. Anybody who disagrees respond, don't just move on, explain it to me, I dare you.

1) where did you get this 300k figure from, provide a reliable source otherwise your chatting bs
2) the 30k figure doesn’t include the thousands of people who’ve been killed as a result of infections/starvation/dehydration etc etc which have all been directly caused by the idf.
3)Also 30k is almost 100% guaranteed to be a massive underestimate bc there are most likely thousands of people trapped under the rubble left behind by the idf and there bombs.
4) what you forgot to factor in is the fact that israel has bombed hospitals meaning people who require medical treatment from injuries/chronic illness are unable to be treated (this is also not included in the 30k people killed by bombs)
5) there is a massive famine occurring due to Israel preventing aid. They’ve also admitted to cutting off the water supply. So how many thousands more people have died due to dehydration/starvation.
6) most of the idf are known to be incompetent idiots who’ve spent most of there time in the military bullying old people and children at checkpoints. There incompetence is further indicated by the fact that every Single time they’ve had face to face combat with anyone they’ve been destroyed. So to compare the number of civilians killed to the number of idiots in the army is dumb. These guys never do face to face combat. The only way they fight is by sitting behind screens and dropping bombs on innocent men, women and children.
7) and most importantly, a genocide requires intent. Even if they haven’t killed every Palestinian in Gaza, that doesn’t mean they’re not committing a genocide.
This is the definition of genocide according to international law: In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
-Killing members of the group; (at least 30k dead but as I said earlier this is most likely an underestimate)

-Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (cutting off food and water supply, as well as cutting off electricity and communications at one point)
-Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; (electricity turned off in hospitals so new born babies who require incubators are left gasping for oxygen and die shortly after being born)
-Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group
Everything in brackets is an example of how Israel has ticked the box.
