Except My Friend and Street both say "Leave the field by an opponent's card or effect". This phrasing is relatively new as before it was "opponent's card effect" (sometimes "battle or opponent's card effect") such as with Sky Striker Ace - Raye. The new text allows for Golem/Kaiju to trigger whereas with Raye you don't get anything and also got your main monster zone clogged.

I am merely pointing out that there are various cards that were translated in weird ways and ended up accidentally having OCG/TCG differences - for instance, Archfiend's Call says "by opponent's card" in TCG but "by your opponent" in OCG. I was simply commenting on how it's generally by card rather than effect these days in Japan, but some cards were mistranslated in both directions which led to a lot of confusion. The example of Purrely cards was indeed just me thinking about a recent card with one of the variations, not remembering that they were translated correctly.

Friendly reminder that the reason why all the new Main Deck cards have a tacked on effect that lets them search or refund "Dark Fusion" specifically is just so Adusted Gold can search ALL of *them* 2. While I would have also liked retrains of the other original Evil Hero Fusions, Infernal Wing's retrain is just a straight upgrade, Dark Knight is an inverted evil version of Neos Knight and Neos himself wearing the Supreme King's armor is pure *aura* 3. Special shoutout to Toxic Bubble for being the only version of Bubbleman(technically Neo Bubbleman) outside of the anime to actually be *usefull* 4. Doom Prison's effect, while a bit roundabout, *does* in the end work the same as Prisma. Its basically a Fusion Substitute with an inherent Special Summon & Foolish Burial. So its *technically* an upgrade.
When the right deck profile is made people are gonna turn around and say these cards are OP. People that play heroes often already see how useful most of these cards are

The new Prisma can send ANY Hero to the GY, not just one that's mentioned as material on a fusion monster. This means that you can send Malicious, for example (1 card Chaos Angel with both attributes). And unlike Vyon and Armageddon Knight, the new Prisma sends as cost, so negating it won't stop it.
evil hero exist since 2006. I think it is totally fine that they can now (18 years later) finally be played as a deck. You should not always put every hero card under one category. For example, Neos heros are also played completely differently than Omni heros. The same can be now said for evil heros
I wouldn't really call them "playable". HERO brues? Sure, as a side engine but as its own dedicated deck, it has too many garnets and no solid win con other than a very unghabunga beatdown and a third tier Super Poly Engine.
? Dark Heroes were at least "okay" when the previous set of Evil Hero stuff came out around the time of DPE. It was worse than the other dark decks and got clowned on for spending 20 minutes to lose to Raigeki, but I mean....DPE+Dark Law+Dark Angel on opp board and like follow up wasn't "terrible". Oh sometimes a Plasma hit the board too I guess. YEP Floodgate.

Vision are supplementary to Destiny (despite turning out generic in TCG/OCG) the same case as Masked where for Elemental. The lack of sub-archetype restrictions allows the last 4 to be mixed into the best cards of each. On the other hand Evil were to be corrupted versions of Elemental that were utilizing Fiends instead of Warriors with essentially only the initial vanilla squad tying them together while having no synergy whatsoever with the other HERO. This is why most of the support doesn't really benefit the "HERO soup" deck and they are an OTK deck on their own.

Popular and well liked? Hero is hated for being a long combo deck that ends on a wall of floodgates, I don't know anyone who enjoys playing against heroes. Even among the hero players, evil heroes are the most obscure, least popular sub-archetype of the bunch. This isn't a response to fan demand this is standard anime main character support.

Lolol Yeah much of the community seems to go back an forth on this. Personally I don't like Omni negates outside of counter traps, but some negates are more creative than just "negate your opponent when they play." 1 monster negate wouldn't hurt too much for Heroes. In the long run, there should be other types of disruption and protection that counter things in new ways

neos has a really good fusion spell that can make rainbow and otk you opp, evil heroes are just worse than neos because the fusion spell you need to use is worse than poly and you need to play all the vanillas.

Anyone who believes that HERO can't play through Nib is genuinely stupid; when Favorite Contact, Contact Fussion, Mask Change, DPE, and this new Contact now exist.
I think the support is pretty decent. On a regular Omni Hero board at the beginning of your opponent's turn you'll have Wonder Driver, DPE, Dark Law, either Sunrise or Inferno Wing, and favorite contact (for Neos Wingman or Lord), Evil Supremacy, Super Poly face down with searched hero in hand from Shadow Mist. That's a macro cosmos, banish from hand if opponent searches a card, DPE pop, 2 to 3 pop from Wingman, Change of Heart and -1 from Super Poly for Neos Lord, and a 2 card board negate from Supremacy. Definitely a high rogue deck imo

1. That card is called Contrast HERO Chaos and it's very, very, expensive to summon considering that we literally HAVE NO MAIN DECK MASKED HERO MONSTERS! WHERE IS IT KONAMI?! So yeah, not worth the effort to even use it for standard HERO deck. Unless of course, you just want to have fun and decided to build a Masked HERO focused deck. 2. It's funny seeing chat's comments since most of them don't really grasp how good some of these new supports can be for the standard HERO deck. So much so that some of us are even experimenting with a 60 card deck build. Just check JadenBR latest video on it for some of those tests.
While these cards are cool for pure Evil Heros, they hardly push the archetype up the ladder. Omni Heroes only benefit from this slightly, if at all. Defo not even close to what Blue-Eyes received, a shame. But happy for all of you Evil Hero enjoyers :)

Im aware that a deck that can barely stay at 40 and that is insanely prone to pretty much any handtrap can play most of these new cards and extend for a slightly better endboard. I mean the deck is stinky doodoo bad. STILL none of the evil hero fusions are good going first besides maybe Backlash, but it is also the hardest one to summon since you need access to new Prisma for it. The deck needed literal custom cards to be worth playing and instead we got more access to Dark Fusion....without good things to summon with it.

@travisgray4583 brother one omni doesn't save you when the deck is still nibiru token turbo. The deck is still too fragile (better hope you open spoly going second) and relies on floodgates like dark law to put up a decent first turn endboard. Mali is an absolute custom card in hero since you can easily recycle him in engine, but it straight up doesn't matter because half the cards hero or dark lock you (or both). We can all come back to this in 6 months or whatever where Hero is still a meme deck with no tops since the support didn't actually do anything outside of slightly helping game 1 (have fun game 2 and 3 losing to spoly or d barrier call fusion).

Wow what a surprise one of the most popular and well liked decks in the 20+ years of this game is getting new support?!? What a shocker!
Honestly these new cards are fucking sick, no need to be a hater about them.
Popular and well liked? Hero is hated for being a long combo deck that ends on a wall of floodgates, I don't know anyone who enjoys playing against heroes. Even among the hero players, evil heroes are the most obscure, least popular sub-archetype of the bunch. This isn't a response to fan demand this is standard anime main character support.

Only bad hero players can't play through nibiru. Good players cans till end on dark law dpe through nib with the trap that let's you pop up to 2-3

Lolol Yeah much of the community seems to go back an forth on this. Personally I don't like Omni negates outside of counter traps, but some negates are more creative than just "negate your opponent when they play."
1 monster negate wouldn't hurt too much for Heroes. In the long run, there should be other types of disruption and protection that counter things in new ways

neos has a really good fusion spell that can make rainbow and otk you opp, evil heroes are just worse than neos because the fusion spell you need to use is worse than poly and you need to play all the vanillas.
No you don't have to play the vanillas, Prison is right there lol
And it's obvious that they want you to summon Backlash with Prison and make Dark Noes on the opponents turn

Anyone who believes that HERO can't play through Nib is genuinely stupid; when Favorite Contact, Contact Fussion, Mask Change, DPE, and this new Contact now exist.
Here me out, what if instead of this being hero pile support, it's instead pure evil hero support.
I think the support is pretty decent. On a regular Omni Hero board at the beginning of your opponent's turn you'll have Wonder Driver, DPE, Dark Law, either Sunrise or Inferno Wing, and favorite contact (for Neos Wingman or Lord), Evil Supremacy, Super Poly face down with searched hero in hand from Shadow Mist.
That's a macro cosmos, banish from hand if opponent searches a card, DPE pop, 2 to 3 pop from Wingman, Change of Heart and -1 from Super Poly for Neos Lord, and a 2 card board negate from Supremacy. Definitely a high rogue deck imo

Konami wants money and will do the best thing that will get them money, and that is printing like 5 waves of hero support and probably never think about Cloudians

1. That card is called Contrast HERO Chaos and it's very, very, expensive to summon considering that we literally HAVE NO MAIN DECK MASKED HERO MONSTERS! WHERE IS IT KONAMI?! So yeah, not worth the effort to even use it for standard HERO deck. Unless of course, you just want to have fun and decided to build a Masked HERO focused deck.
2. It's funny seeing chat's comments since most of them don't really grasp how good some of these new supports can be for the standard HERO deck. So much so that some of us are even experimenting with a 60 card deck build. Just check JadenBR latest video on it for some of those tests.

While these cards are cool for pure Evil Heros, they hardly push the archetype up the ladder. Omni Heroes only benefit from this slightly, if at all. Defo not even close to what Blue-Eyes received, a shame. But happy for all of you Evil Hero enjoyers :)

I dont think you realize that pure heroes can play these cards and not just pure evil hero decks
I think this was entirely meant for Evil Heroes, yeah it doesn't really boost Omni but that is clearly not the goal, it's to make Evil Hero actually do something in modern times
@@MrGshinobi i literally talked about omni heroes, what is your point? Im aware that a deck that can barely stay at 40 and that is insanely prone to pretty much any handtrap can play most of these new cards and extend for a slightly better endboard. Hence "benefit only slightly" due to a trap negate, a super poly search and a boss mob that can steal a body. Still not up there bucko, dunno what to tell ya

I mean the deck is stinky doodoo bad. STILL none of the evil hero fusions are good going first besides maybe Backlash, but it is also the hardest one to summon since you need access to new Prisma for it.
The deck needed literal custom cards to be worth playing and instead we got more access to Dark Fusion....without good things to summon with it.

@travisgray4583 brother one omni doesn't save you when the deck is still nibiru token turbo. The deck is still too fragile (better hope you open spoly going second) and relies on floodgates like dark law to put up a decent first turn endboard.
Mali is an absolute custom card in hero since you can easily recycle him in engine, but it straight up doesn't matter because half the cards hero or dark lock you (or both).
We can all come back to this in 6 months or whatever where Hero is still a meme deck with no tops since the support didn't actually do anything outside of slightly helping game 1 (have fun game 2 and 3 losing to spoly or d barrier call fusion).
