Why don't you just load setups from the leaderboard? I tend to just load the fastest driver's setup and they work really well. Or I try a few from the top 3-5 and see what suits my driving style best.
@@davefellows that's time trial setup not actual race setup the actual esport race setup is much more different than that

Epic video as per, hope you do all the tracks. F1 2022 was my first game so I relied on your track guides. Funnily enough, no one on youtube did the French track guide for some reason and it was a terrible experience haha.

Great guide, thanks Antz! My best to-date is a low 30. I've only done maybe 20 laps around Bahrain but I struggle big time with the low speed corners so going to try some of your tips and see if I can improve. I tend to use too lower gear into corners which helps get the car rotated into the corner but I seem to lose heaps of time on exit so trying to adjust my driving style so I can use higher gears like you quick guys do. The reference points you mention are super helpful. I should get into the habit of driving round a circuit more slowly for a lap and identifying potential reference points.
If you are using traction control, turn it off. that way you get like a hell more rotation and control over your car

first time I see this explained so well.. I been struggling so much with breaking zone. and now also with aceleration.. I find I acelerate to slow to prevent spinning but then im losing to much time.

Great video mate. I play controller and first year of mastering TC off. Main struggle with this track is the entry and maximising speed through the exit of 9 and 10. Thanks for the pointers!
They are very difficult corners, even the pros mess it up from time to time
What’s your best time? I can’t seem to get on the throttle quick enough on the exit of turn 1 and entering turn 2.. I can’t get better than 1:34.. with assists off except abs.
Yo thanks for this. Improved 1.5 seconds with this guide. Still 2 seconds off your time though 😭 do you have any general tips for carrying speed round corners? I do trial braking, so I assume

Nice video, thanks for the explanation. And of cource juicy lap time. I would really be interested in what lap times you get when you are running the default setup. Or if you are running the lap from the cockpit view / vr. Keep it up ;-)
I can pretty much match my best times in cockpit view if I practice for an hour or so. As for default setups, they are roughly about a second slower per lap at most circuits so just add a second to my current times and that would roughly be where I'd be

As a controller player should I start using manual shifting? At turn 1 it keeps going into 2nd gear rather than 3rd
I cant apply as much throttle as you can in turn 2 i spin every time i try
Just a casual player with controller. I find it really hard on this track. Losing so much time at turn 2 due massive snaps and the sector as always i'm dead slow. As hard as Monaco and Japan.
One of my weaker tracks... Hopefully this helps 😢😅
Damm it i can only manage a 1.35 on this track but then again thats in My Team mode using a fictional team

I can only get to 1.31 on controller….no idea if that’s reasonable or not

He uses simracing centre setups, I believe, which he is not allowed to share. Links in the description but a few other guys on YT have setups.
