why my point lights dont radiate light

My drawing became incredibly slow when I added the lights. I was working on adding the lights on a project for a whole day today because I had to wait for at least 2 minutes after every move I made (move, zoom, pan, line), basically everything. Do you know what the problem might be?

Everything works fine but the bulb "source" does not turn on I do not understand why? I have all done again several times. I have shaded the shadows and the reflection of light on the ground.
