- Duran Duran performing Too Much Information live at the House of Blues in Los Angeles CA on August 29th, 2000.
DD: Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, Warren Cuccurullo with Joe Travers and Wes Wehmiller
My brother Warren is a musical genius !!!
Jerald Cuccurullo agreed!
Sim sim ... Um dos melhores!!
Big Thing has SUCH BALLS y’know?
😎🤘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😌😎
Best DD Guitarist alround by a country mile. Really wish he stayed....
Yes indeed he is
i used to jam with warren on east 95th street in a basement with friends of vinny mistretta . shows you what dedication and hard work can do... a canarsie boy done good. i hope his hard work gave him what he wanted out of life .
Warren brought a great energy back to Duran Duran...one of my fav tracks with him in the band
Suena siempre perfecto.
Kudos to Warren & Duran, for being so Professional!!
Way 2Go!😎
As a guitarist when this started out I was like wow, his guitar tone sucks on this. But then I noticed he was looking around like something isn't right and boom he stopped the song and made it right. Love videos like this.
HELL YEAH !!! respect!!!!!! amazing warren!!! love this
This rock version is even better than the original. Although I really like the "unplugged" sound of the first.
Boa apresentação!! Saudades do Warren
love this song
love dd
Musically the best lineup of DD, IMHO.
Top top😃
I like DD with the ORIGINAL members. That partnership WORKED! I’m a DD fan since the early 80’s. JT IS the Bass God!!!!
Nick IS the synth God!!! Simon’s vocals are Perfect!!!! They just need Roger (or a percussion clone of him) and the same with Andy. Those people were a perfect fit to perform together.
This song is correct and it was written pre-Internet!
Umm not quite. The internet existed before this song did by a few years.
@@mikemc5221 yeah, from 1983...only none publicize it........
I will always wonder why they didn't call Warren back when Andy left in 2005
cause, they can't , the music business doensn't want him back nevermore
@@clelia999w9 and this is...why??
@@alanarkham143 CAUSE THE GENERATIONS OF 2000 GOT TO BE MORE QUIET AND LIGHT THAN THE X GENRATION, SO MORE THE TIME PASS MORE THAT TIME IS HIDDEN, LIKE MORE FAR...MUSIC BUSINESS IS NOT ABOUT MONEY, IS ABOUT ASTROLOGY AND ORDER
@@clelia999w9 mmmm you could be right
I think it was to do with warrens ventures into p0rn & conspiracy stuff😔
omg how i miss warren in the band. the guy was the best musician this band ever had. now we get dominic brown butchering every song live.
DD basically went the way of modern New Order… EDM which has little to no guitar and all bass and synthesizer. Dom is just there to play the old hits they’d get flogged if they didn’t play.
They even fucked with Rogers drums so he doesn’t get an organic sound anymore
And you wonder why you don`t hear no guitar solos in the current line up .Warren era was the best.Every true musician will get pissed if things are not sounding right.
Echt super. !
Bad ass whip ass sound
Strange rendition of a great song (but maybe I should allow for the fact that CZcams isn't exactly the same as being there). And yes, Warren was definitely the best guitarist DD has ever had.
probably the best song on wedding album. excellent performance. why bash warren?
What about None of the above, or sin of the city
Simon looks tired and fed up by this stage of the bands career
Well when you go from headlining arenas to the House of Blues, you’d be fed up too lol
Warren: “ I refuse to play with one fucking speaker.” Simon *thinks* “... he has a funky speaker!” This speaks volumes regarding the way Duran Duran has always presented themselves. Although he is très talentueux, Warren just wasn’t a fit....
Hola.
Warren = JACKED!
oh oh !! wtf !! the band .. going down , right here.
The 2000 tour was indeed their "Cabaret" period - poor old Simon, always looking to the bright side of things and a glass half full man if ever their was one - you can see he's heartbroken underneath. To stop the show and swearing - that is considers so uncouth for a Duran - I think Warren is a good musician and a half decent arranger and songwriter - but he did get to the point where he took it too far and relaxed too much into the role and let his Jersey side come out! It had to be over - the boys were heartbroken it came to this.

yes, i do have the complete show; its just that i havent had time. I will upload them in the upcoming weeks
Is there any way to get a copy of the whole show from you? I was there and would really love one. I could pay a bit for a DVD and shipping if you are able to burn it. I would really love to have a whole show I attended.
please upload the show
lmao, "That was the shorter version..."
The band wrote some great stuff with Warren. But it was obviously a bad fit, Simon, Nick, and John are pretty suave and Warren is just Jersey. Oh and it's obviously Simon's voice on the backing track doing the high harmonies, but there's Warren singing.
Their best stuff was with Warren. Besides the Chaffeur, their other line ups suck IMHO
@@jordanmole6298 their first original and this the best
Bad fit????
Why?.............
Warren can be elegant but he was trying to push primal scream with Nick , while Simon and John wanted to go back towards what Mark Ronson offers
Without Warren there would never have been 'Ordinary World' or the 'Wedding Album'…They were literally recorded at Warren's house when the band were at their lowest ebb.
That night Warren Cucurrullo started his way out of Duran Duran;
Delete your mind...
Did anyone see John in this video? Did the camera not go on? 😭
Uhh john had left the band in 1997 this was 2000
Jacked = ripped, built, in great shape
warrens look here reminds me of edbassmaster
The backup vocals are obviously Simon 🤣
Great song!
Didn't care much for the self important attitude problem though
Simon looks like he got out of a swimming pool
I agree with most that Simon was not right, as for Warren, he was not a Guitar for hire like Dominic Brown….lol what was DD thinking ? He must have been a buddy of John Taylor……. Warren is probably one of the best live guitarist out there…… I've seen him with Zappa, Missing Persons and Duran Duran. The Wedding Album was a Great piece of work. Ordinary World probably one of the best DD songs ever…….. Electric Barbarella another Great song. Duran Duran evolved with Warren. Not a big fan of band mates who bailed the band, Andy & John Taylor. I guess DD is working with the Chili Peppers old guitar player in studio now. Of John Frusciante, I'm not a big fan, but new DD music soon is always a good thing.
I like the Warren era music and Warren's guitar playing. But now that I see that lineup live, he really doesn't fit. English glams and, well, yes, "Just Jersey." It's funny to really notice this.
You forget the American guitarists that Bowie worked with
RANDY JUDAH TALK"
anybody seen mr. Andy Taylor
THIS MAN CALLED WARREN ALWAYS WANTED MORE ATTENTION ON HIM THAN THE BAND , I DONT LIKE DOM BUT THE BAND WORK IN PEACE NOW
Simon definitely didn't look or sound quite right... even then, he rocked this song!
Warren, you're not even part of DD, so shut up and do your damn job! good riddance
Just my humble opinion of course....
warren was DD for awhile but im sure this helped him exit the band...good riddance!
I think the sound needed to be right, my son and myself play guitar and perform live. If u do sum research Warren has played with Frank Zappa as a lead guitar and studio musician for years before starting his band Missing Persons. Andy Taylor, Dominic Brown are nothing compared to Warren's talent, not even in the same ballpark. Warren was forced out by the DD label and John Taylor, whom had a DD melt down. Andy Taylor was a drunk on stage at all the shows I've seen in the early 80's. He's a mediocre guitar player at best. Warren was the best thing that happened to DD !!!
It’s done out of respect for the audience to get the full experience. Most of Warren’s gear is studio to replicate the studio experience
I don't really care much about someone's talent or who they've played with or how big their muscles are and who they can beat up, to me true greatness in a musician starts first with being a great person, not being self important because "they can", I'm more than certain he could have gotten what he needed from the soundman without the unappealing attitude, don't care who you are, "Egos Suck"!!!
>we were on HOB site back then great
(and also on JT official great)
We had certain chemistry
happend to meet Nick, Warren・・・
WARREN IS THES BEST GUITAR........ BY DURAN DURAN.....
What was the exact date of this performance? They played several dates there.
August 29th, 2000
Thank you! I was there that night.
fuckin warren
Que mal el reemplazo de Andy Taylor!!!
Duran at their lowest ebb. No John anymore. No Andy no Roger. Nick's heart was broken when John Left. Even LeBon admitted they were ready to call it a day - before the reunion. Cuccurrillo was a fine guitarist and a good songwriter but he was too outrageous for Duran. I remember him in a video saying he shouldn't have come on so strong with one of their backing singers who quit the tour because he was harassing her. You can love rock stars' music, but never expect them to be a nice person.
He was trying to take over the band as Simon said in the Quietus interview but then who else would ?
No entiendo nada.
what the fuck you mean JACKED i dont understand explain me ?
No Warren, No Andy, No longer interested in the band.
Warren was an a- hole. Glad he's gone. Andy had way more class than he did.
Warren we miss you. Dom sucks. Andy never was a real DD member
Duran Duran sounded great live back then. Now? Uninspired and lack confidence to play anything out of the ordinary. Why? Because they have no decent arranger of music and they have no guitarist to drive them forward, always relying on Nick’s synths to do the work. AYNIN was a major step forward but then the band decided they no longer wanted to play anything live from it. More likely they were unable to without Mark Ronson. So we now get Paper Gods, Duran’s worst ever album - I never thought that accolade would move from RCM.. but it has. There’s no doubt Duran are missing the raw energy that Warren brought.
Mark Ronson was never part of the live band. Dom Brown has been the live guitar player since Red Carpet Massacre
@@noahmartin9526 unfortunately.
But they’re back to the r&b pop sound which is closer to their beginnings
@@Reprodestruxion They’ve never been an R&B band.
