The candlesticks are absolutely beautiful! Zeb does such a great job with the working aspect. I took woodworking in high school and turning candlesticks is not an easy task. Great job!!!! I love my molds from IOD. You can upscale anything with these molds!!!

Whoever buys those is one lucky soul! Those are so beautiful, both ways. I've put molds on clay pots and painted them. My original intention with them was to keep them inside. Well, you know what they say about best intentions... A few of them ended up outside, but because it was several weeks after I first made them, the molds stayed put. The paint kind of softened; I mean it didn't wash off, but it got lighter and kind of blended in with the clay pots. I hadn't sealed them at all. Loving the look!

We usually salvage or demo a house about once a year. People will tell us about a house being torn down and we’ll get the owners permission to save all we can before it’s demolished. We haven’t done one this year though. Running out of salvage wood.

It’s a box elder tree. It’s getting cut down though. It has some rot and a branch fell on someone’s car so the landlord is getting rid of it.

Good morning Jami and Zeb! I have a diy question! I recently purchased some old kitchen cabinets from habitat for humanity. I am using them
In my new craft/workshop. I painted them with chalk paint . Do you suggest a wax sealer or polycrylic?
Wax gives a beautiful finish but if you need to wipe them down a lot I would use a liquid top coat. We use SP Top Coat a lot because it gives a nice matte finish like wax.

Can you stencil a piece after you’ve already waxed it. (I forgot I wanted to stencil something on it)
It may not stick well but I’ve done it and it’s been ok most of the time. Just know it may not work out.
I HAVE A DINING TABLE WITH HI GLOSS FINISH. WOULD LIKE TO USE THE OLD AND GREY. WHAT STEP WOULD I NEED TO DO.
Are you wanting to cover it up or sand it down and see the wood grain but have it be gray?
