    Is there any gain in these other than perfecting your technique? What I mean is would somebody with already flawless technique benefit from it in any other way, or should they focus on other aspects of training?

      There is no athlete with the flawless technique. Each racewalker has something to work on. Therefore, for any athlete these drills would be beneficial.

      So? It is still legitimate racewalking as soon as there is "no visible (to the human eye) loss of contact".

      Therefore, you can't really judge using "slow motion".
