    Do you think an introverted person can enjoy recruiting if they enjoy helping others?

    • @burnttcocoa

      Yes definitely! As an introvert myself I do feel a sense of fulfilment when the people I’ve placed show appreciation for my hard work :)

    Hi there I am doing a social development and linguistics degree and would like to manoeuvre my degree the recruiter route, I'm looking for places to volunteer and will do an HR certificate or diploma before I finish my degree. I just wanted to ask if there is anything you'd advise me as I would like to be in recruitment. Thank you

      Start in an agency and do recruitment sales. That’s the easiest way to get your foot in. The ‘but’ is that most people are not willing to do sales.

    Hi! is there any specific requirement to be a technical recruiter as compare to the normal generic one ? Am looking at recruiters job now with zero experience in sg😅

      Hello! I think it would very much depend on the hiring manager’s expectations. Though it is likely that having past experience hiring for tech will give you an advantage when applying for a tech recruiter role.

      Hi there! If you're looking for roles, pls head over to job posting websites to apply. I only hire for very specific roles within the company :)

    are you a recruitment consultant or an internal recruiter? do you have to make cold calls ?

    • @burnttcocoa
      @burnttcocoa  Před rokem +1

      Currently internal so no cold calling is required. But I did cold calls as an external recruiter previously

      I’m thinking of starting to get into recruiting but doesn’t know which type of recruiting I wanna get into, would love more videos about working in recruitment ( only if u’re comfortable with it)💗

      @@Madeline-te8nv As per my experience, I would absolutely go for internal recruitment anytime, as compared to agency hiring , I had a really tough time meeting targets , specially in agencies when they are not clear about the targets, and obviously not meeting them tend to make u demotivated. Plus the money is pretty decent while working for SAAS startups, however the market right now is really volatile , so always be open for early stage startups, having scaling up such teams would add a lot to ur resume!!✌✌✌✌

      @@Madeline-te8nv Internal. It really depends on your goals and personality. Are you're more outgoing and have the strong drive to earn $$? If yes, then external recruitment might be a better choice for you!
