LOVE all of these but I’m noticing on a lot of the genshin figures their faces look so dead! Keqing, mona and ganyu specifically, maybe a bit in xiao (suits him tho) too! I wish they had more battle ready faces instead of just staring into space 😔
Agreed with Mona/Keqing and Ganyu, wouldn’t hurt to have more emotion. Xiao is just being Xiao lol didn’t surprise me he had an ‘emo’ look. We can always look to Barbara for some happiness, her face is also swappable!
Just subscribed. Not an expert on photography or videos but you definitely make every figure look beautiful. IDK if it's just me but I see a little wobbling.
It's also cool how you bought all the female Genshin figures (besides Klee, Ningguang) and that Anya + Bond one that I also own. Are you also going to buy Fischl, Eula, and Ayaka?
Thanks so much!! Yep it is shaky on some shots because I didn’t hold the panning stick carefully, it was more noticeable with my new lens since it’s a 90mm instead of the 70mm I used before.
I’ve ordered all the Genshin character figures (except Qiqi .. too many painful memories), really looking forward to Eula since she’s my favourite character but Fischl and Ayaka will be awesome too!
i had a local shop offer the megumin e-stram figure offerd for 360 so i backorderd it, got a notifaction 4 months later when it should have come in. we got less then expected so you don't get yours so i was pissed and dissapointed at the same time, bought it the same week off solaris japan, it costed me upwards of 500 to get it with taxes etc but i got it! and i am very happy about it
That sucks but glad you got it in the end! The Megumin eStream is an epic grail figure, in amiami Akihabara Japan I saw it in the shop for 62,700 Yen in Nov 2023 so for 500 that’s still a good price. I ordered some spy x nendoroids from Animegami UK and I never got my order because they went bankrupt…(had to claim the money back on my credit card). Luckily I was able to get them on amiami still
@@otakuoverlordx yes it's pretty tricky to get a hold of some figures, i am now keeping an eye out for the figure of akame from akame ga kill, but it's pretty old but still looks awsome in my opion, but didn't see it on amiami so i will keep looking

My goodness, you came out of the gate swinging! You picked up some stunning figures! One great thing about the anime figure collecting community is with there being so many options available, I'm always presented with figures I don't have or was unaware of.
Thanks! I’ve been an anime fan since my childhood and owning figures was always something I wanted to do. I guess when I bought the first one I couldn’t help but buy more! It took a long time to work out how to ‘theme’ my collection but in the end I just went with my gut feel lol Glad you liked the video and saw ones you haven’t before!
@@otakuoverlordx I LOVE this reply because it reminds me so, so much of my anime collecting journey! My decent into the rabbit hole started with Megahouse One Piece POP line. My goodness, the flood gates opened! Before I knew it I had the entire Straw Hat crew and then my favorite supporting characters. From there I went crazy buying figures to every anime/video game I was into. While watching your video I could see the theme you were going with and let me say you picked a good one. Genshin Impact has some lovely looking characters. I do commend you going for those because, wow, the Genshin figs are expensive! I only have one and that's the Kotobukiya Aether; I do plan to get his sister at some point. I still collect way too many figures to list here but my main focus are the Kotobukiya Pokemon trainer line as well as the figures Koto have been putting out in the Trails (Kiseki) series.
Nice! However now you’re on the One Piece theme and there’s so many characters to collect, same with Pokémon but luckily they have some pretty cool prize and POP figures to keep the wallet from drying up. I started with the Megumin Winter POP Up figure last year (a birthday gift) and since I’m a Hoyoverse fan been collecting the genshin figures since. It’s expensive and hence I started the hobby quite late but man they look so good couldn’t stop the orders! Also despite the price I do feel the Chinese manufacturers are better value for price overall (at least that’s one of my excuses). Oh btw in Tokyo I saw some really awesome grail OnePiece figures (super expensive and large) I’ll do a video on that but I think my Bangkok diorama video has more (very surprised to see so many resin statues in Bangkok of OnePiece)
These figures are gorgeous!! I'm slowly getting into collecting them after years of collecting anime on blu ray and dvd. Also the quality of your video is so beautiful.

@@otakuoverlordx It's so daunting! There are so many figures out there, but I'm trying to pace myself, haha. So far I have mostly pop-up parade figures! They're on the cheaper side. I have 9 Pop-Up Parade figures, 5 scale figures, and 5 figures that I'm not sure what to call? Lol. I don't know the lingo, but they're not scale! I'm currently eyeing a few more scale figures to add to my collection. =)
Yeh there’s so much out there and sounds like you’ve got a solid collection going! For me to help narrow it down, I would only buy the ones I’m kinda invested in emotionally ie I’ve watched the anime or played the game. It was actually my wife that got me started, my first figure was a pop up parade Megumin (Konosuba) winter edition. If it helps you can always preorder on amiami and then cancel later, just make sure cancel when the invoice arrives!
@@otakuoverlordx Thank you for the advice!! I can proudly say I've only purchased figures that I've got some connection to as well! My two chase figures going into scale hunting was Rean Schwarzer from The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, and Domon Kasshu from Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Both franchises were a huuuge part of my childhood, so picking those up and having them as a tangible representation of my love for those series just felt good.

Funny the only Furyu figure that I had seen with zero complains is the Hoshiguma figure at a good price, maybe Hypergryph gun pointed Furyu to not fuck up the figure XD
When I saw that figure I honestly couldn’t believe it was FuRyu either, originally thought it was Myethos! Good news for the Arknights fans !
It’s still possible to get that Yea Sakura wedding outfit in-game
