The first video review you did of the person regarding the tactician crowns: a lot of players don't know that you don't need to equip the crown to get the effect of it.

2.2 on gold, he could have leveled up, sold mal, put in rene(or sold a rene and put in sam), slammed bow, and prob kept extra cho for a possible 3 star later which would have given him econ, extra level and extra speed

Had the diamond player picked up liss early he would have a liss 2 on his board instead of the two 1 star shens. He should have put a significant amount of pressure on the cruel pact player.
Now, if he picked think fast and only focused on karma and liss then he probably would have killed the cruel pact player at 3-5.
I feel like in lower ranks u shud always go for the win streak because more often than not you come up against someone that is afk or just doesnt gaf and they only have like 3 champs throughout stage one. So if you try to lose streak those players will mess that up.
Easy, just don't put any champs at all, lol

I tried to apply what I see for gold, none of the guys there were as bad as the players in the game you showed, 4-1 trist 4, 4 targon comps, karma 3 hahaha amazing. Imma still using lvl 5 units to shave boards as always
Gold game question: Why did you prefer the early Guinsoo's on Kai'Sa although you knew the player was going for a Challeneger - oriented comp (having in mind you had previously mentioned players should avoid AS items if the comp already provides AS, such as Challenger)? Were you mentioning it from a standpoint where you were hoping for them to not force Challenger, or was it because you wanted them to secure a good early game?
again, from a standpoint where the player was at the time when they popped a rod on Kaisa and left it alone for quite a while, rage blade was a better choice to pop on to maintain their win streak.

laughing at the plat start cause i said during one of the previous commentaries that i forget people actually chat in the game, tft OR LoL, because i keep chat muted in both games lol. I DO NOT play tft to speak, i even get annoyed at the spam pinging & will mute people for doing it lol
also to add to my personal experience along with the people in the comments here--this is my 2nd set hitting Plat & i'm here to see if theres information I can STILL take away to improve my climbs. Plat will surely not be my ceiling. thank you @BunnyMuffins for the insights !

I would have replaced the shadow isles long ago in gold game and wouldve played yasuo irelia kaisa ww for challengers, would grab reksai for voids and freljord with lissandra ( would give 4 challengers, 3ionia, 2 bastion, 3 voids, 2 invokers, 2 freljord which is really good for shredding, helps kaisa..( I am gold2)
hey I'm looking to improve, I've hit Platinum before by only playing 1-2 comps, should I be learning and playing different comps or can I still stick to mastering a couple?
I like Void and Noxus right now, really flexible and easy to build around a carry, but I don't like many of the other playstyles
definitely learn all of the current meta comps, which tend to change with every patch - a diamond player

3.2 on plat portion... i actually like shoplifter here because i look at it as 2-5 free gold a round OR a good high tier match while greeding econ... So not bad but I would have taken magic wand too
Can you help me understand the advanced optimization you talked about at 2:08:40 ? I don't really understand how this is an optimal thing to do, and I can't find any info about it anywhere.
there are 1/100 games where you need to sell your whole bench to make 10 gold. if you make the upgrade, 3gold (often 4) worth of units go onto your board. If you do not upgrade until after the fight starts, you only field 2 gold on your board meaning you can sell more stuff if needed

I just never, ever, ever get "my" champs in the shop. I once started with an Ori and she NEVER came up all game till I was Lv. 7. Not kidding. It's my biggest problem tbh. Other Players get Lv. 3 Champs and I still got Lv. 1 in my Lineup. What am I doing wrong?

2:08:42 timestamp, What is the actual pros of waiting to buy the third Oriana? I didn't quite understand the explanation given.
So if you have only 2 units on the board when the round starts, the game will say "no you're level 3, here I'll help and pull a unit in for you". This stops you from being able to sell it. He's saying he definitely wants the three oris, but wants the option to sell the rest of his bench. By not buying the third ori until after the round starts, the unit doesn't combine yet, and another unit isn't forced from his bench into play.
The advantage here is that if he had gotten extra gold, he could then sell the rest of his bench to reach 10 gold and get 1 gold interest.
He could have simply sold his whole bench and only ran the poppy and 2 star ori, but he doesn't want to sell his bench if it doesn't make him interest. Not buying until the round starts gives him the option to either keep the bench or sell it, depending on what drops.

Curious as to why shiv would be so good on Kalista when she does true damage why would you need to shred?
I thought the same thing initially but her atk speed is so high that she triggers it so often. Also she gives your kaisa magic shred anyways

@@BunnyMuffins That is not the only reason. Her passive counts as magic dmg when she apply it. It only counts as a true dmg on execution. There is a leduck video experimenting it.
kalista is a weird champ, she applies "spears" per AA, those spears can crit (not the auto, the spear on applaying) that's why u build JG on her, the same idea goes for mr shred
EX: lets say her spear is at 100 dmg, if the enemy have 10 spears stacked he will be execute at 1000 health, now lets say 1 of those spear crited for 125 dmg, he will be executed at 1025
But the spear is a source of magic "dmg" and if the enemy has a dragon claw, the spear "dmg" will be reduced and the execute threshold will be lower too, and that is why u need shiv on kalista
the spear "dmg" is not actual dmg, is the amount health he will be executed at, its not a bonus dmg
That diamond rank guy is no way perform accordingly to match with that rank.

First thing, it was crucial to watch game 2 and second 55:54 was f**** funny

All I learned is Warren buffet is high health and didn't need to roll
5 minutes in and the random circling of the character around the board was really distracting. It's probably an unintentional fidget, but it was so hard to not see it on e I noticed since the dango rolling is so cute. Can't wait to learn something though

Things I learned, I can be a billionaire if I have high health and don't rush it.
The amount of luck there must be in this game if a competitive player can't consistently win iron league matches.

so i jsut got into diamond and i usually do every set and give up grinding after that. but watching the diamond in this video he looked terrible im not gonna lie. i think you were a tad biased in including his game because hes your friend. Not trying to hate on him or you just pointing out that i think that this a bad clip and isnt nearly as helpful as other tips given in the rest of the video
I think the whole point is to include games where it’s not played well though. That way we can look at mistakes. If he gets a perfect game or plays pefectly(difficult for diamond player to play perfectly) then not much can be learned

Definitely won't work. I have an account with better stats than your placements and matches after, and I still haven't hit Plat. I had a 37% win rate. If you don't believe me feel free to check my lolchess, the account was neesylad on EUW. There's a lot to be said for tempering expectations.
This guide is meant to show you in 3 hours how you can improve to climb, not how to climb to diamond in literally 3 hours. I can see how it can be confusing though, the title is probably chosen to be a click bait on purpose to a degree ;)
Welp, watch vods or twitch streams if you feel stuck. TVT bebe is one streamer to watch. He's the top korean tft player and has great commentary of why makes certain choices.

happens, just keep playing, im on euw as well. just started ranked on sunday for this season and avaraged 2,2 on the 8 matches and then there are still games where i bot 3 cause randomly ppl hitting 2 star yasuos in stage 3.1. its a marathon, not a spring, and bad roll games even out eventually. i was at least plat every season now on euw and you dont need to be supergood to achieve it. just need time.
