Resin geode tray and coaster set
I used Dalchem Crystal Clear resin to make this tray and coaster set. I also used pigments pastes from Armor Art.

I truly love and appreciate when artists “make mistakes” and correct them. Learn a lot from that, both in patience, not giving up, not getting upset, and how to correct mistakes. Much much appreciated. Please don’t edit these out.

Personally, I feel you are amazing at what you do. I also love the fact that you didn't just start over and act like the mis-pours/overpours/etc., didn't happen. You show that no matter your skill, you can still have mistakes and things happen. I believe that, even with little things happening here and there, the project turns out great because art is exactly that...art. It can be many things. There's no right and wrong way to create art. Thank you for showing everything.

Diablo!! Amazing!! It looks like the coasters were poured as a single piece and then sliced apart!!! The yellow parts match so well! The flames look so real - where parts have been covered by black, it's like the disembodied and detached flames of a roaring bonfire! Beautiful! If you ever do this fire pour again, try adding a tiny bit of silver or white inside the yellow. If you look at fire, it actually has white in it at the base of the flame as well. I think it would just take your fire piece that extra bit from beautiful to spectacular.
