Career change after YTA. Mark Franks returns 5 months after completing tiling and plastering courses

Mark Franks came to YTA in the summer of 2020 to re-train as a tiler / plasterer. He completed our 10 day level 1 tiling course and the 5 day intensive plastering course.
Mark set up as a self employed tiler & plasterer and 5 months on he returned in December 2020 to give some valued feedback and gave an insight on how life is in the trade and how he has found his new career.
YTA are a private construction training provider in Yorkshire specialising in level 1 to NVQ level 3 qualifications in tiling, plastering, plumbing, carpentry & joinery, kitchen fitting, electrical and bricklaying.
Small adult only group sizes with an average of 5 students per class. YTA Training And Assessment Ltd. Bradford.

Seems he advertised himself on Facebook to get that first job, which is awesome! My question now is how did he keep getting those contracts over the months to remain busy? Do I go through agencies or keep self-advertising? What are the options for that?
