Beginners have it difficult, because we are not allowed to try all of the events, which means we would loose a lot of primogems, and also, even if we are allowed, we can't play it properly like the "fight event" because we don't have enough characters... Hoyoverse should simplify farming, or at least, low the cost for wishes

@@annav1859 how beginner? big things are save primos for who you really want, dont deal too much with artifacts until AR 45, save your resources. And dont use ANY of your fragile resin until Ar 45 then yo use all of it to farm for artifacts.

as an endgame player who has 100% every region and unlocked all domains, waypoints and levelled up the sakura tree and dragonspine tree the only way to get primos is Daily coms, Livestream codes, events
Even if you have 100% exploration you can still get chests collecting all chests doesn't make it 100% rather the achievement for collecting all chests is making your exploration 100% so just look around everyday while you are doing commissions or events The best way would be to switch your daily commissions everyday so that you get cycled between each region

For the new players that are still in the Liyue Arc, I suggest visiting Cloud Retainer again, because she gives you a quest that will reward you 50 primos and 3 precious chests.
I have been delaying my world quests for a long time now but when I tried to finish some of them, I got a lot of primogems.

That really was accurate. But sadly I'm that far in the game that I can only rely on a few things...events probably give the most primos in a short time, but tbh the current event freaks me out. I'm so scared that these dogs will catch me, my blod pressure goes high up when I'm trying to get those primos...T-T

Went from 340 primos to 870 in three days. It feels much slower when you’re actually doing all the work, but looking back helps.
Kazuha rerun and Cyno. As F2P, with 500 primos currently and no intention of paying, this is really helpful. Thanks!

I wouldn't worry to much. Since cyno is a sumeru character which sumeru is coming like in 3.0 or something like that, you still have a few months.

ALSO I want to mention that you should talk to Dandy, a woman who will time your race times for flying and running challenges. Completing the challenges 3 times will give you 1. a common chest 2. an exquisite chest and finally 3. a precious chest if you beat your other times. She's spread out around Liyue, so you can get plenty of chests from her.

I don’t ever get to mad at myself for wishing on limited banners that much because is always say “it’s all pity” so that when something comes out it’ll only take 30 wishes

Hey, this helps a lot, now imma start doing hangouts instead of story quests. Btw not only seirai island, the ENTIRE INAZUMA scares me, it just has so damned many enemies
And I thought Liyue was horrible enough! (I haven’t gone to Inazuma cuz of some wuest in which u get to play as Shenhe, now im VERY scared for my life)
Tip: grind chests in inazuma
If your low on mora, you get more, low on hero’s wit, you get heros wit or the other ones(depends on chest), you need primogems, you can get a lot just from grinding some, and the Sakura tree uses sigils. Where do you get sigils-? Chests-! What does the tree give-? Fates-! (Oh and crowns and ascension materials which are helpful)

For the seirai island task, you can actually only use it for a full week (i think) before it finishes. It will give you an achievement in the end though so from all of it combined in the single week
(day 1= 20 primos + day 2= 20 primos + day 3= 30 primos + day 4= 20 primos + day 5= 20 primos + day 6= 20 primos + day 7= 20 primos + Achievement = 5 primos = 155 primos)
Ok thanks! Every day I’ll do my commissions 100%, I’ll do my unfinished quest’s, I’ll do spiral more, I’ll discover many domains and waypoints with my freinds, and more! This was really helpful!

I'm a new player (10 days) and I'm already at AR 36, so I can confirm.
Thank you so much for this list! I was scared that the longer one plays, the less primos are available and, even if it's partially true, there's still more than enough for everyone's needs.
as a player whos been playing since January of last year, there isnt really much to do after a while. I'm ar 56 with all quests completed in mondstadt and liyue.(missing 5 for Inazuma due to commissions). full sakura tree, full handbook, full leveled up statues(except for Inazuma but i hate Inazuma). the only way i really get primos is during the events and my welkin. and occasionally with chest, i can find but it's usually common. Now i still love genshin (plus ive spent way to much money for me not to play) but there are days i log in, do commissions, get the reward then boom done.
im just waiting for the next big patch, hopefully being sumeru for more quest and exploration

I've been farming for an entire week and got up to 26 fates :D I lost the 50/50 to Mona (kazuhas banner) but I was so happy cuz I needed her for my Xiao showcase TT currently waiting for Zhongli since I'm on a guaranteed, tysm for the video
Thank's a lot for this guide !! I was worried about not getting 5* I want in next pachs (Kazuha and Ayaka are mendatory for me) even if I've currently 250 wishes to do. I'm a lazy player and I just do the repetitive content everydays (resin, dailies, spiral abyss), the main story quest and events when they come. I'm not bored of this content and I've not much time to spend on the game everyday so it was ok for me to play like this until now. But thank's to you, I'm reasure of not missing my favorite characters if I dedicate myself in exploration and secondary quests. I even wonder if I'm gonna do some pulls on Kokomi banner's ♥
Update : I won my 50/50 and got lady Ayaka 😍 Now I've 300 wishes to get Kazuha and other char but I'm still not decided 😂

As a f2p myself, it's really difficult saving primogems for a later character who you need while all the ones you want a passing by. The most I've ever gotten was 25k primos, and that was from starting anew until AR55. I'm AR57 now and proudly have Diluc, Albedo, Mona, Jean, and Wanderer for 5star characters with Lost prayer, mist splitter, key at r2 and Skyward harp. Am now farming for Leney and thanks to this, I'll have more to farm with to get him 😊
Hey I was wondering if weapon banners are f2p? My ar is 10 but I'll p2w for most of my 5 stars. I p2w 1 weapon I the past but I don't want that pain again. Is it worth spending free primos on a weapon banner ?

Here's my wishing strategy (I'm doing daily commisions + claiming rewards from blessing of the welkin moon, which totaly gives me 150 primogems everyday): First banner - skipping> Secound banner> wishing with the possibility of losing 50/50 > Third banner > Skipping > Fourth banner > wishing with guaranteed event character.

Remember also to get all the shrine of depths because it gives 40 primo gems each.
Apart from other ways the abyss way is not so effective, nowadays you need to have well build charcters ( to beat abyss9-12) and that takes quite some time and you are rewarded poorly in my opinion. But you can always try i suppose

I'm here for the beautiful accent first and the primos second, been playing for 2 days and I'm loving it.
I want xiao from the next banner and I’ll also try getting zhongli after him. If I get zhongli somehow I’ll roll for ganyu. I’m on 50/50 and with 70 pity, I’ll probably lose the 50/50 since I already won 2 of 2 so I’m not going to farm so much.. haha- I’ll just make sure to try and get these primo gems :)

As a F2P who hasn’t wished since Kazuhas banner who has over 20k+ primos I suggest in your early days in genshin to save up, maybe a 10 20 wish is fine I guess though. I don’t grind much maybe every once or twice a week? You can always grind more, I say ALWAYS use codes, codes gives you 100 primos for each code. I also suggest doing daily comms (even though I don’t do them 😰) they give 60 primos daily. Spiral Abyss does give lots of primogems but I don’t do it as much as a F2P because I don’t have that but character and all my characters aren’t built so it’s kinda hard. The main thing how I get so much primos is doing ALL the quests you have that gives primos (even though I don’t do them anymore too 😂). But events is how I mainly grind primos, I don’t do it as much but I try too when I have time or I’m just in the game for fun.

all I do is go around liyue/mondstadt/inazuma getting chests (also very handy for sigils) and get primos from that. I have 10k primos at the moment after all 30 days of welkin and farming for 2 months + events with primos.

@@crimsonrainsoughtflower11 A 50/50 is a chance of getting the promotional character on that banner or getting a different character that is not on the banner. Hope that clears up
@@crimsonrainsoughtflower11 when you roll a five star, there is a 50/50 chance of it being the featured character or one of the other five stars. if you don't get the featured character, you're guaranteed and your next 5 star will be the featured character (I believe it carries over as well)

Here are some easy primogems we will be able to get during xiao and shenhe’s banner :
21 days x 60 primogems from comissions : 1260
Serever maintenance thing mail from paimon : 600
Spiral abyss ( depends on you ) : 600
Trial run : 40
Enkanomyia : 1500 primogems
Starglitter and stardust fates : 10 fates = 1600

biggest mistake f2p players make (farming materials for upcoming characters/weapons and ends up losing the 50/50)

@@oneandonlycleopatra897 50/50 is when you wish on the event banner(the banner that changes every 20 days) there is a 50% chance to get the event character or a 50% chance to get one of the standard banner characters

qiqi, jean, diluc, mona, and keqing
