All my friends went up to Alpine Valley the night before (first of his two nights there). I was so mad I couldn't go. One of them said oh you can catch him next time around. Yeah that never happened 😥. I cried for days after, his music helped me through the darkest days of my life. Glad someone is keeping his legacy alive because he was magical.

I was shopping at Walmart and there was a tee shirt in the bargain section with a 3 piece band on it that looked exactly like SRV’s band with the likeness of him up front, with exact likeness of the clothing & hat he wore, and guitar he played. Except they were all skeletons. I played for years, doing countless gigs, in bars, casinos, parties, festivals, ect. And when I saw that shirt, the Lord said to me, That was you! Dead in trespasses and sins! Seeking after vain glory, dead while you lived, all for vanity! I purchased that shirt, cut out the picture and put in on my studio’s wall! I seen a video once of Albert King doing something similar. He was performing and brought out SRV to play with him on stage. When he was introducing SRV, Albert King said "I want to bring out my son to play for you people. Here he is SRV!" He knew people wouldn't believe SRV was his son of course. Think the poster probably thought the same way when posting this video because we all would know that 1. SRV had no children. I'm pretty sure he said that, not to lie to anyone. He probably knew that fans would know SRV had no kids. He was just saying that this kid looks and plays similar to SRV. I seen a video once of Albert King doing something similar. He was performing and brought out SRV to play with him on stage. When he was introducing SRV, Albert King said "I want to bring out my son to play for you people. Here he is SRV!" He knew people wouldn't believe SRV was his son of course. Think the poster probably thought the same way when posting this video because we all would know that 1. SRV had no children. And 2. even if he did that child would have to be at least 33 years old since SRV died 33 years ago. Its obvious this kid would be way to young to be the child of SRV. Not a lie. Just a way to say this kid has a style and tone that is similar to the great SRV.
