if a tooth is really loose is it too late saving?
The entire reason people are here is b/c far too many DDS in my area are unethical and just base Everything on how much money they can make from my tooth problem.
Exactly.. a dentist told me I need to remove 3 teeth. I was confused on why because I have no pain so I just left. Currently still looking for a better dentist.. your comment hit the spot. They want insurance money per tooth
I'm in Palo Alto do you accept Medi Cal?
You should use a close up when referring to the screen as it is impossible to see at present
I treated a really bad tooth infection with garlic. Took 1 large clove 3Xs a day, it has been nearly impossible to get into a dentists chair right now. Swelling decreased by 90+% and pain totally gone, no fever, no aches, no abscess. I feel like my normal self. I feel great! Are antibiotics still necessary? I know the tooth will need to be removed when I can actually get to a dentist and I will get an implant there.
Rdcl garlic has some great properties but it may be coincidence that the swelling went down at the same time as garlic use. I don't know if antibiotics will be necessary but you can always tell your dentist that you don't want antibiotics.
@Silver Shamrock I went to the dentist. Had it X-rayed. No antibiotics needed.
@@Still_I_Ridewas the tooth pulled?
@@Still_I_Ride did garlic help to get abscess removed or infection?
@@promasterwaris4055 it totally removed the infection I had in my tooth. The side of my mouth was like fist-sized. I took garlic and noticed it started going down and it was gone completely in a few days. I took pictures each and every day and documented this way. This happened during the pandemic and so I had a over-the-phone call with a dr from urgent care, who I explained to him what I did and wasn't sure if I needed a script because to be honest with you I was a little nervous since I had never done anything like it before. He said "it sounds like you killed it". I was finally able to go to the dentist days later in order to take care of the tooth and of course it was x-rayed beforehand. After this all happened I even suggested garlic to someone else who had stepped on a nail. He went to the dr and got antibiotics but said the pills weren't working and he couldn't even wear a shoe or work because of this injury. I told him how I used garlic for my tooth and gave him some organic garlic I had on hand (I always keep garlic around, especially after my tooth incident), crushed it for him and told him to wait 10 minutes in order to let the allicin kick in and take it with a cup of water like I did. Within a couple of days he told me that he thinks the garlic was working because he noticed the sore on his foot actually started to crust up. He went back to the drs and confirmed it. After several days he was able to wear a shoe and eventually he got a job again and it lifted his spirits. I'm telling you the truth. Garlic is a natural antibiotic. If you dont' believe me, then just do some research on your own about its history. Look at African Americans and how they used garlic for a myriad of reasons when white racial violence kept hospitals and drs offices segregated. Look at other history, too, outside of the U.S. or wherever you are.
I have an infection on my upper left molar that has already had a root canal and has a crown placed 3 years ago (it's extremely painful right now .) do you think it's best to just get an extraction.
Larry it’s impossible to answer that without an exam and X-ray. But it’s an excellent question. In some cases a replacement tooth may last longer than trying to save the tooth.
@@KantorDental I see, thank you so much for your advice!
I had a root canal. Then tooth kept breaking. So kept getting it refixed.towards the end there was nothing really left so pulled it out
@1971 Im sorry to hear that. Usually root canals last for decades.
i had a bad infection and the dentist told me that i had no choice but to get a root canal because they would not allow me to recieve any other treatment.
@john sorry to hear you're in pain. you can always get a second opinion.
Why not a removable valplast denture
Jorge many people don’t like to have something removable in their mouths. But if you can get used to it, they’re great!
I’ve had two root canals on the same tooth. Going through pain again and it’s hell. I want it removed forever
Xavier sorry to hear that. Sometimes a tooth cannot be saved 😢
@@greykantor945i want my tooth removed but the doctor says that i have to deal with the anguish instead of getting it removed because they dont want to extract it.
@@greykantor945 I am in the same situation. The doctors are only for money. Did You extract the tooth and healed correctly? Thanks.
I have a far back Left tooth and I'm getting it removed and I'm not getting a implant
Tank not replacing the tooth is always an option.
@@KantorDental good to know I was panicking and needed advice thanks also does to the numbing needle hurt?
Wish I’d not bothered I’ve had three and it’s still infected nos extraction toddy
I have to get a back tooth pulled- premolar tooth, maybe i'll get a flexible partial to wear during the day, what do you think? ( I don't want to get a bridge or implant)
@@sscot720 i haven’t got a implant still my wisdom tooth grew into the hole
Not sure what 🤦🏾♀️
M.s. thanks for the comment
root canal treatment makes me feel nervous and dental implant is very expensive 😖 i asked kriss ai if can i just do tooth extraction and it gave me implications where one of those is bone loss 😢
Kriss could also have some ideas for minimizing bone loss after extraction, or even alternative treatments that are more affordable than implants. This could give you some options to consider for your treatment.
@@allisondarcy your talking both about that kriss I'm curious is that an app??
@@rienne89 same question, where can we access it?
@@soposhhh1122 i just stumbled on it recently and you can actually search it through google kriss ai then the first one will show the website . hope it helps
@@ryanfajardo4364 Thank you for this! really helpful 😁
Sheesh Cost plays the biggest factor, and dental care is so expensive.. of course it depends on severity of infection and condition of tooth.
@olivia that's a very good point. Cost is a big factor because saving a tooth costs 10x as much as extracting it (and not replacing it).
@@KantorDental this is why prevention is absolutely better than cure 😢 now i'd keep in mind both my dentist and kriss ai's advice in taking care of my oral health 🥺
@@rokishoto prevention really is the key, and tools like kriss can make it easier to stay on top of your oral health. It’s worth investing in care now to avoid higher costs later!
Too many issues with root canals. There’s no way of knowing if they’ve gotten every nerve out (usually just the main one). Anything not getting g blood flow is dead, you don’t leave anything dead in the body. Which will start to grow bacteria leading to all sorts of other major health problems affecting the rest of the body.
I agree that tooth infections can cause problems throughout the body. But root canals have been shown to be safe and effective if done appropriately.
Pull it, implants are the future. No more pain ever again.

You been sold a dream my friend implants have many complications too
Do root canals completely get rid of infection?
Beautiful the short answer is yes. The root canal stops the nidus of the infection. Your body completely gets rid of it.
No no they don’t I’ve had three and the tooth is still infected I’m getting it removed today
@@KantorDental WHY DO YOU LIE ?
@@susanwjoh0re735 he’s not lying. It’s literally impossible if the root canal was performed properly
@@KantorDental how is that then my doctor sayd my root is infected Even though root canal was done previosly and crown in top
