I've just wasted two and a half minutes of my life, with just a few seconds worth listening to stuck inside to add some real class to the proceedings.
That's goiing to become more and more frequent, I fear, with recording directors reaching out to Janelle Monae to add some interest to a tired, old-fashioned track otherwise lacking in the sheer class the electrifying lady brings to everything she touches. Sorry to Nutini fans about charging in like this. If I had known how disappointed I was going to be I would not have come here expecting so much.
