- Finally got around to videoing the entire trip through to the new terminus of Grasslands. Come along for the ride!
This is a 45mm gauge, 1:24 scale electric tramway. Just like their full size counterparts the trams are powered from overhead wire at 32v DC. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
This is the most charming garden rail I have ever seen. The catenary columns are adorable. ♥
This little railroad is of outstanding beauty. It seems as if it would as naturally belong into this garden as all the beautiful plants.
Strange and wonderful! Like being in an elvish scale the whole scenery by itself takes adventurous proportions and feelings. What a job !
Sweet! I love how you used the surrounding branches and fashioned the poles that carry the power line. Nice job.
素晴らしいアトラクション!草をかき分けて行くところ最高!冒険を体感してるみたい。Tanks !
Of all the out door train gardens I had seen, this is far my best. So realistic.
What a fantastic creation! Journey into a dreamland, through grass and ferns. Keep it up guys.
I was not expecting video from a model railroad. I thought it would be something like, 'through the backwoods of Maine.' This is very very nice. You've done a wonderful job.
That is the most natural and beautiful layout I've ever seen. I love how it grew out naturally and looks like a true overgrown railroad, the most mystical and beautiful of the genre. In fact, from the thumbnail I thought it WAS a real railroad like others I've seen on CZcams. Congrats! Great thumbs up!
Reminds me of when I used to ride a Penn Central branch line back in the late 1960s. The line was nearly as overgrown with foliage. You definitely had to keep your head and arms inside the engine cab, and even then some tree branches would protrude through the open window. You have a very scenic line here. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic outdoor Traction Railway!!!
Exciting scenery too!!!
Love the natural grown roadbed!!!
Great Work!!!
I’m not a train, or model train fan, but what you have done there is just awesome. Watched it a few times , love it.
Hands down one of the prettiest and coolest adventure videos I’ve seen for outdoor model railroading. Regards from the Northeastern United States, - Mike
I love the retaining wall/ landscaped shelf construction of the layout. Not on ground level (for most of the run), but not just sitting up on a table either. Then track looks like it belongs there. Nice work!
Use of rough materials for sidings and bridges are a highlight of this line. Rough track way and plants are awsome. Thanks for the ride.
This must be all the rage at parties. "You guys wanna see my model railroad?" *opens the back door*
Yes it is
I love how the trolley went past what appeared to be some rocks and I said to myself, these boulders must be millions of years old and must have been deposited by glaciers! Then I saw the next tunnel ... Had me fooled there! Great job!
What a brilliant railroad. Beautiful work.
I couldn’t stop smiling! And what beautiful gardens.
I LOVE this! It's like a trolley ride through a south american rainforest!
I especially like how you have allowed the plants to grow so that they brush the tram as it passes instead of brutally pruning them back. Nice touch there.
Do you get many de-rail incidents from the plants and such?
Not especially, most of the rollingstock is fairly heavy. Sometimes overhanging vegetation can knock the trolley poles off the wire though.
Fascinating outdoor layout. I am especially impressed by the track work and the custom turnouts at the beginning. Very nice job
I love your relaxing speed. Oftentimes I feel sick when I watch 'garden train' videos. But this is not the case. Excellent.
You did a FANTASTIC job on this layout
Very beautiful and relaxing. I really admire for your patience and passion to do this beautiful thing!!!
Just AWESOME! Great work on the catenary and points.
Fascinating. It fills me with joy to watch this. Thanks for sharing. 🙂🌸
Brilliant - who ever deided on the Wild Side aproach, is a genius!!!! Thank you .. forgot, the Trams, including the set in the road, I grew up in Hong Kong, as a kid examined everything I could and these points, the exact shape of the flanges on the X's, perfect n exact - not the same as train points - respect - the trams themselves, includung the steam one near/at the ehd, loved em
I've unfortunately never visited Hong Kong, though I'd like to! The tramway is very interesting and well known. I have both types of points here, some near the start of the video are proper tramway points with only a single moving blade, but others are heavy rail types with two blades.
Awesome video- great scenery !
A lot of work went into this setup and thank you for sharing this amazing video 😁👍💕
Excellent work there ... wow! I could happily watch that again ...
Moc pěkné, moc se mi to líbí..I když to okolo vypadá, jak v zahrádkářské kolonii, jako kdyby to k tomu patřilo. Super..
Absolutly fantastic,it's a new world look with giant plants trees and rocks...amazing. Best C...
For me it is one of the most interesting garden railways. I wonder all the time when an animal jumps out of the jungle. Thank you for sharing the video with us.
I love the wildness of this layout. It has such a natural feel to it.
Wonderful in every sense of the word...who ever built this...you are great, what a nice little railway!
This is by far one of the coolest model railroads I've seen too date. Great stuff!
I can't put into words how wonderful this is!
What a fascinating ride! Some of those spots look positively post-apocalyptic at ground level!
Nice ride! I like this because there is a new vista around every curve.
yeah but how did you get the tracks in your garden? did the house come with it
Wonderful work! Love the video! Please keep producing such content! Good job! 👍🏻
This was beautiful to watch. Absolutely brilliant landscaping and engineering. Definitely subscribing after seeing this!
Wow. Really nice job with the super-elevation on the wide sweeping curves. Very realistic.
Ten _four ☺

Man, your backyard/garden is so beautiful, it looks like some sort of a Spitzweg garden (Karl Spitzweg = famous painter of the 19th century). The railroad looks like running through a beautiful, magical jungle wilderness.
@an 4312 Spitzweg is German indeed, probably sounds like Schpitsveg or Schpitsvech in German
Wow!!!! That is just insanely awesome!!!! Great job
This is absolutely amazing! So unbelievably clever! lOVE it!
Some months after you made this, CZcams recommended it to me. I've just watched one of the best vids of its genre on here. Fantastic layout, great to have the interest of the trams coming the other way, too.
You gave a few minutes of happy to a whingeing pom!
Now do one at dusk, with the lights on in the trams...
This was MOST impressive... and I'm not easily impressed when it comes to outdoor railroad/traction layouts. The onboard camera certainly gives one the feeling of actually riding the line. Thanks so much for sharing. Now I must run. Time to start planning my own outdoor garden layout! ;-) Wonderful job!!
Great video. I found myself lost in the scale of it so that a drop of a foot or so looked perilously high and stones looked like huge boulders. Loved the way it had to wait at passing loops too, an nice touch of realism.
This is absolutely fantastic I’ve never seen anything like this in my life how wonderful .and beautiful. Great engineering work
You must be crazy!
I love it!
I've done myself some in snow, but this is incredible cool!!!
Absolutely beautiful. This video put me to sleep because of how relaxed it made me. Love it!
Fantastic, and a true Paradise Garden !! Thanks v much for the upload.
良いですね❗こんな素晴らしいミニ鉄道見たことありません❗
Best video on You Tube! Could do with the track gang out there! Brilliant work mate. All the best from York, England.
Wonderful layout! The overgrown tracks really look great!
サムネイルではどこか外国の廃線かと思ったけど、
えっ模型なの?本物の草木だと?広いし長い!出来が凄い!
本当に素晴らしい!!
This is awesome! Very impressive and inspiring! This video deserves billions of views!
Brilliant. Loved the train stopping moments..
This is amazing! I love it, even better seen from the view of a cab ride.
Thank you for sharing your personal paradise with the world. You and Mother Nature made a great collaboration.
Exzelent, such a great layout I have never seen.
Thumbs up and ABO.
Greetings from Germany

Sehr schöne Gartenbahn super Video
LG
What an utterly enchanting line.
So beautifully naturalised.
You've made beutiful composition. That was a great ride! Full of excitation and really interesting :)
I really like the concept of it being a old railway
The Fat Controller was very pleased with the layout of this railroad track. "I am very pleased!" said the Fat Controller.
Thomas: *SIR SEND ME TO THAT LAYOUT PLEASE*
Is that what you call your wife? I don't have that much nerve...
Its a tramway, not a railway.
100th like
@@comengshBut they have rails?
Just stumbled across this video. It is like some sort of terrifying yet beautiful Disney jungle ride. I love the yard and the layout. thanks for sharing.
That was a wonderful video and you did an amazing Job ! ☺️💙
Fantástico! Imagino o trabalho que deu para fazer esta maravilha...
My train struggles to move on perfect flooring
This train practically moving on mud and plants
Wow! It makes me feel as if Im in the train travelling. Its so beautiful and life-like. Well done! I really enjoy it. Thank you. From: Singapore. :)
That’s such an enjoyable video to watch. Superb.
Love how it brushes aside plants on the track!
Whoa. Never thought to see your commentary here. I like your hot wheels track vids
Yes it gives it a whimsical air.

Excellent. Lovely garden railway atmosphere.
That’s quite an undertaking. Well done!
Great garden tram-track - half expected a kangaroo or snake to wander across this rather rustic line, but well engineered if a little maintenance required to keep the track clear here and there!
Makes a change from the pristine razed track beds and manicured foliage that are more usual. The tumbledown nature fits the style of the ageing tramway perfectly, and viewers get the "will it derail?" excitement as well! The only thing I was left wondering was access to the tunnels.
It's nice to have some actual garden in your garden railway:) Much like it's prototype this is a low budget operation, so maintenance is "just enough". There is an access point near the middle of tunnel 2, though luckily it's not often needed.
Outstanding! You need some elephants, and tigers along the way!
I was thinking that what he needs for this are some scale capybaras munching on line-side foliage, that would suit the jungle setting really well. Scale capybara = tan guinea pig.
@@quillmaurer6563 A Capybara is VERY much larger than a Guinea Pig - it is, in fact the largest rodent in the world. Wiki says "Adult capybaras grow to 106 to 134 cm (3.48 to 4.40 ft) in length, stand 50 to 62 cm (20 to 24 in) tall", they also live tp live in family groups of 10/20, but can sometimes exceed100. They are not polite beasts and are rarely housetrained - some are kept as pets - cant see em sticking to just crunching a few stalks - expect to have to completely replant garden every few weeks
Tiny ones I hope, not full size real thing Tigers, remember Roy of Siegfried + Roy? He still looks bit "chewed" - it must have affected his head, he claims that ""Montecore is a great cat. Make sure no harm comes to Montecore." - that in the ambulance on the way to Hospital - later "He told People Magazine in September 2004 that Montecore saved his life by trying to drag him to safety after he had a stroke. Yep, dragged him by the throat and neck, whatever the cats motivation, as devined by Roy, it didnt do his health a lot of good. He never really recovered, attacked in Oct 2003, by March 2006, Horn was talking and walking, with assistance, he would never regain full mobility, retired fully in 2010, he caught Covid in April this year and died. He was 75
@@Cheeseatingjunglista I know that capybaras are way bigger than guinea pigs, that was my idea - a guinea pig is a "model-scale" capybara, a guinea pig beside the model track would look like a capybara if the track were full-scale
And likewise guinea pigs are way easier to care for than capybaras - they don't need to have water to poop in. From all the videos I've seen capybaras can be quite tame and friendly, but I still wouldn't think of them as domesticated. Certainly not an easy to care for pet, regardless of personality. I'd still think of them as far less dangerous than tigers though.
Feelin relaxed after that scenic train ride .. thank you....

Just found your channel. Really fun to watch. Awesome video.
It reminded of Mr Rogers' trolley. When I was a child, I always imagined the trolley kept going to someplace like this.
Really well done! I love how the relatively ordinary yard weeds, what looks to me like maybe southern US or something, on this scale transforms into the huge exotic plants of a tropical rainforest. That combined with the lightly laid tracks and usage of logs (sticks in reality) to hold the catenary wires makes this feel like a ride on a remote jungle line in a place like Bolivia or Peru. That's what I thought this was when I saw the thumbnail. Many modelers try to use plastic models created and painted in meticulous detail to try to make a perfect representation of the real world in miniature, but I find it much more interesting when using found objects from the real world - plants (alive or dead) being the ideal form of such, along with the rocks and concrete rubble forming boulders and fallen rock, a culvert used as a tunnel lining, and so on. I get the sense that not much of the "scenery" was built for this line, it was just built into an existing semi-natural backyard that was used in it's existing form perfectly to create this spectacular illusion. Only thing missing from this tropical jungle is some grazing capybaras alongside the track - some light brown guinea pigs would be perfect.
Glad you enjoyed it! :) There's a lot to be said for using low budget existing materials, I think a lot of people tend to over engineer garden railways. This is located in Melbourne, Australia. You're more or less correct, a lot of the scenery was existing though a fair bit of earthworks was required in some locations. The line has a significant level change from one end to the other. Towards the end of the video we see more of the natural vegetation for this area, but the lusher vegetation at the start is an irrigated area and is quite artificial. This part of the world is normally too dry for ferns to grow. Haha I do need some guineapigs, but I already have some giant fluffy velociraptors!
@@melbournesparks3828 Cool stuff! I guess that it looks so natural is a testament to how well you did, as a real-world "jungle" scenery would be similarly natural-looking.
It might have been New England with the rocks and vegetation
There is something very satisfying about this ride. Models are great as well.
Wow! Great garden railway! I wish mine was that good!
I love how this looks so real and the nature there is beautiful
I wonder how much this cost on money and time
Same
Me too
Time is usually the biggest component in modelling. The line and the rollingstock have been built up over several years though. Some money is needed for materials, but lots of parts are home made or materials salvaged which makes it cheaper.
I think its even beter than my trip from Guatemala City to Puerto Barrios! in 1979.
Absolutely fantastic. Just superb!
Beautiful! Idk how this came up, but glad to find these kind of videos 👍✌️ Stay well
とても幻想的で綺麗ですね。
サムネ脱線してるのかと思いましたw
That is a great layout, I especially love that the overhead catenary is functional! Radio-controlled, huh?
this is a great garden train great work lots of fun to watch You have a new subscriber great verity of plants as well
Invaded by vegetation as it is, it looks spectacular. The dried vegetation seem to reclaim everything at a very high pace to say that this is one of the last rides... I would be totally fascinated if I were a figure on one of the cars!
Put two small weedwacker like things on the front so you can trim the plants as you drive.
Love that idea

Oohhh Smart idea! But it’s cool to see the over grown human size plants the train goes through! 😁💖
“Welcome, to Jurassic Park.”

lol so true!!!
Finally someone who also have jp vibes
Bloody ripper mate, interesting backyard.
Great little layout, so interesting with the viaducts, tunnels and passing loops etc and I notice that there is probably room for expansion as well.
I like front riding view. Good 👍
This So Much Looks like the " Old Sugar Cane Rail Road " in Hawaii .

Amazing layout and scenery !
Hi, your railway 🚃 garden it’s totally awesome 👏 and streetcars too !
