Emma Stone came on the scene way later and never became the same sensation.
I had to imdb Emma to see who she was. Although I did see Zombieland and La La Land, she did not make enough of an impression for me to learn her name (or realize it was the same actor). Lohan is far more famous, neither are particularly good actors. As far as 'celebrity' goes, Lohan is light years ahead (not always in a good way ha ha)

Like, Emma Stone is easily one of the most famous actresses on earth, near the top of the A-List and has won multiple Academy Awards and so is considered one of the best actresses, too. Lindsey Lohan is also very talented, but her personal life derailed her career. Therefore, she is nowhere near as famous as Emma Stone. You are just a weirdo.
This is kind of sad because Emma became what Lindsay could have been. There's a really similar energy.

Gilda was number one, but did you think that was Cheri, because it was Nasim Pedrad.
Cheri and Gilda's Barbara was over the top, whereas Nasim and Melissa's Barbara more closely resembles Barbara. As far as "best" I suppose that depends on if you are defining that as most funny, biggest caricature, or most accurate.
I suspect we won't see Melissa's Barbara much unless Barbara gets back in front of the cameras.
Gilda Radner is the high bar.
Emma was excellent! :) She puts more depth into her characters than the other actresses.

It was actually nice from SNL to help Lohan by not creating just a string of DUI jokes like everyone else did. At least they got around to the fact that she is actually still quite a successful actress and businesswoman.

Yep. She was also in the show that starred John Mullaney. Nasim Pedrad are one of those actors that has been a part of big projects yet still a regular SNL cast. Most of them like Kristen, has to go out from the show so they could concentrate in other career paths.
