Pompey have been my club for 55 years and my dad's before me. Once it bites you, it is impossible to shake off. There's been a lot of work going on in the last 5 years, and the ground looks so much better now. Come and see a game, you won't regret it.

That structure on top of the South Stand is the new state of the art TV gantry which is still under construction so all that building material outside is probably connected to that. The statue outside is Pompey's favourite son, Jimmy Dickinson as is the image on the seats at the Fratton End.

@@Laudits Coincidently, a CZcamsr called MJPhotography has just released a video showing all the internal upgrading going on at Fratton Park. It's 5 mins long and Pompey's building head honcho Steve Cripps gives a guided tour. So Slim the security guard no longer has a secret to keep. 😀

Verry good video, all trophies are under lock and key and are in through reception, and there is a statue of a Portsmouth legend by the club shop witch is always open to public apart from that it’s quite closed off if it’s not a match day

More than any other club in the south of England outside of London. How about two League championships, two FA cup wins and trophies for promotion from the various divisions. How many trophies has your club won? If it's who I think it is the answer will be 'not many'

We have a great history and to be honest looking like future too 🤞.
They are upgrading the south stand at the moment with a new TV gantry on/in the roof, and upgrading the home end as well with new kiosks and newer facilities it’s looking brilliant along with all the seating upgrades last year and new away end and corners,
Get down for a game the atmosphere is second to none and we out-sing any fans in the country 😁😁👍 I hope this helps mate 👍

Also, the ‘pub’ I saw. Is that a pub or is it an extension of the reception area?
@@Laudits it’s an old pub mate it’s still decked out in the old tile fronts but it’s kind of offices now 👍, if you had carried on walking up the road and turned left at the end and walked for about 3-4 mins you would of seen the matchday local on your right 👍 again great atmosphere on a matchday there too 👍😁
@@Laudits When I was a kid in the 1950s the pub you referred to was called 'The Pompey' Unfortunately I was too young to use it and sadly it has been closed as a pub for many years.
