I've been designing on Wix using the basic editor for the past two years and realized that I can not transfer to Wix-Studio automatically so starting over from scratch. I'm not bummed, learned so much so things should go much faster, and smoother this go around. The benefits of Wix-Studio is too good not to switch. I may be wrong, but I recall seeing a notification that in May they would be automatically switched over.

A new nugget of information: Wix has recently released a responsive AI in its software, 18:58 This Ai almost fixes this issue with some minor but totally solvable problems. Hope this helps 😊

Thank you so much for your very good explanation! I have been working with the Editor for a long time but find the Studio not as easy. Probably with time, I will get used to it. May I ask a question I am struggling with: When inserting let's say a services sections, the colours/background are not those of my site. Is there a way to make this new section to adapt to my site's colours? Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, not. You can save your colors as styles and quickly apply them to anything you want.

I have query, There is one section it’s contain some text in mobile view i have to move that section text to another section in mobile view using javascript so how i can do in wix studio

How does this compare with Framer? (for designers that don't want to have to deal with HTML/CSS when creating their portfolio)
When it comes to building complex websites, they share many similarities. However, for creating custom solutions for businesses, Wix Studio is a great option because it allows you to connect to many apps. If you are just trying to build your portfolio, I would say Framer is a better choice since it has a shorter learning curve.

I have a 5yrs old site with Wix. How do I migrate to this new editor? A new site can use it but how I move the entire site to a new platform without starting from scratch?
Between texts and frames there are a lot of spaces that there aren’t visible in wix editor

Everytime with a do a change in Tablet it changes again in Desktop, its so annoying, does someone have a solution for that?
That's strange because changes cascade down to smaller breakpoints not the other way around.
It's strange. Does this still occurs?
Shouldn't changes cascade down unless you are making a structural change. In this case add elements to the tablet breakpoint and hide the other elements

When clicking on a text box, the "Responsive Behavior" section doesn't show up for me. Any suggestions?
The responsive behaviour will be at the top of the inspector panel. If you elaborate on what you are trying to do I will let you know
How do I add a dropdown for one of the menu pages?
when i change the menu location or delete the menu and add a new menu, mobile and tablet view show both hamburger menu and the normal menu side by side...what is the solution it is a nightmare please help..could you try this?

Yes you can use CMS , it will depend on your collection permissions, connecting will be with datasets to the book on your home page, you can also use Velo to query the logged in user to determine where they are redirected too

Hi. Your gaps are probably scalable. If you check the value you set in the gap section you will see an asterisk indicating your values are dynamic and they will change based on the screen size. You can change it to a fixed PX unit.

Yes, you can assign your domain to another site in your account as long as it has an appropriate premium plan, if from classic plan you can assign that too but may need to upgrade

Studio is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Its slow, clunky, you have to click multiple times to get what should be 1-2 clicks. Its not straight forward to understand. they increased the learning curve. total garbage. The older editor was better.
I did not like it at first love it now it's a learning curve getting better each day
